And yet even given evidence of thousands of hoaxes and misidentifications, you still have an ironclad belief that aliens are absolutely visiting this planet. I can change my mind if I'm proven wrong and real evidence is given that aliens are visiting, something tells me you'll never be convinced that they probably aren't.

Thing is, the same goes for the ones who would believe something based on something that's close to nothing... Not all the time, but most of it.

The truth is somewhere in between, isn't it? While there are people who can draw conclusions blindly (in both the skeptic, and believer way) and lie to themselves, we aren't getting anywhere. And anywhere less near UFOs becoming a religion is good. I can see it now, most of the people around here I think have watched "Idiocracy"... It's something along the same lines, people in white robes, pointing towards a plastic bag flying in the sky, and they complete go nuts over it.

I don't mean to ridicule anyone in any way who disagrees with me, I prefer pushing people into educating themselves on the subject, the very least. Many people ask why other people don't believe what they do, well, the information is all over ATS, about how the subject should be treated, and what is considered explainable and unexplainable phenomenon. Sometimes I think the reason the Now of UFOlogy is getting closer and closer to becoming an actual MSM in a way, is because of the laziness many people have. Guys, I don't mean to disrespect you, but do your homework.

And by this post, I'm not implying I actually believe in the possibility of aliens never visiting Earth...

and thats why we could never come to a agreed conclusion between all members, i to think some people are to quick to scream hoax, the fact that those who do not believe all come up with different explainations proves that some of it is just denial of it being a u.f.o. rather than carefully thinking about what it could be or being bothered about finding the answers or truth.

they don't care what it is, it is just not a u.f.o for whatever reason they can come up with at the time.
now that does'nt mean it is a u.f.o. either, but i would like to know what it is rather than just stating it is not a u.f.o.

the reason i think it is not balloons is because they stay the same distance apart from each other, balloons that far away from eachother would move idependant of each other even if tied together by string, which must be a very long lenght of string by the way.

there is not enough there to say it is a u.f.o. and not enough there to say for certain it is'nt.

This is what is wrong with the field of ufology nowadays. You haven't even seen the evidence but you're prepared to believe it regardless.

That's because they have seen similar footage, so don't need further convincing. Unlike people like you, who will always find some excuse - however far-fetched - to dismiss video and photographic evidence - however good it is.

How do you know he/she had seen similar footage? How would he/she know they had seen similar footage?

HE/SHE ADMITTED THEY HAD NOT SEEN THIS VIDEO! How the Hell could they make any value judgement on this video if they had not seen it???

And before you get on your high-horse about "people like me"... I'm actually a believer. I've seen an object I couldn't explain away no matter how hard I tried. I just don't fall for all this fakery at the drop of a hat like some seem to do. I don't like people taking the p**s by posting hoaxed videos and I get extremely annoyed by the feeble-minded who are so desperate to have something exciting in their lives they will believe anything fed to them.

It's not a UFO, because i can't possibly think of any ET that flies over earth and wants to stay hidden by lighting up the space craft with brilliant position lights on a clear day.. Com'on...

There is no date, there is no place, it is either an hoax made with CGI or something flying very high, with the camera not able to catch the shape but only the strobs
