Calling all psychic vampires... (are you a psychic vampire)

Hi, my name is Brandon and I'm searching for those who are or think they might be psychic vampires. If you don't believe in such a thing, please don't start a debate as that is not the intent of this thread.

I've done a lot of research on vampires, psychic vampires, energy vampires, and the manipulation of energy. To start with, the word vampire is used very loosely here, because an energy manipulator doesn't have to follow the vampire codex to be such, but if you do... That is ok too.

I've assisted in a research project that I stumbled across being done at a university of energy, the research was allowing energy manipulators to draw clean energy from an unlimited source where victims didn't exist. I'd like to continue this research on my own, but need willing participants to assist me in my work.

I believe you will all enjoy these experiments.

I also don't like the term vampire unless you intentionally steel energy from unwilling victims like one would steel blood from a non donor. This is why the term is widely accepted and recognized. Are you an energy manipulator or just aware of your personal energy.

This is really funny. I saw the thread title and immediately thought of this guy I used to work with. I know you say there is a difference between intention and unintentional energy drain but it is really hard to know if this guy had a clue what he was doing or if it was just part of his nature.

I worked with this guy that was just EXHAUSTING to talk to. Everyone in the office avoided engaging him in conversation at all cost because the end result was always you feeling wiped out, defeated, a little stupider, and sorry for the experience. He was the type of guy that would see people talking and work his way into the center of the conversation and then say things that completely drained the joy and energy from the group. He was a conversation killer and he would follow one of you back to your cubilce and keep it up. I always thought of him as a "psychic vampire" the way Antone Lavey describes them and it struck me funny because his name was Brendan so when I first started reading your thread, I had to take a second look.

I am willing to bet that people who employ the phrase may have a few differnt variations on the what would constitute one but I have never felt drained from just being around someone the way I did around this guy.

Hello OP.

Maybe I can get some of my own questions answered as well as answer some of yours.

I grew up in a family of people that would laugh at such a notion and dismiss it as nonsense. I grew up on a farm and was an only child. Most of the time I went to school, did my homework, then chores (taking care of animals). I spent a lot of time alone, so maybe I developed differently than the average modern child. I am by no means a "psychic" but I have recently noticed one particular thing about myself as of late. I can't be snuck up on. At least not by animals or humans. Trees do a better job of messing me up more than anything, but that's a different story lol.

When I was a kid, I never thought much of it. I would have headphones on, listening to music, but I could still tell when someone entered my room. Eyes closed, middle of night, whatever it didn't matter. Still to this day, I can sense up to nearly 20ft. Just the other day I was laying in bed with my wife, covers completely over us, tv blaring, yet I knew someone was in my yard. It was just the Power reader guy, but you get my point.

It isn't exactly a "spider-sense" either. If someone fired a missle at me, I'd be toast.

I know it's silly, but I can actually feel the "pressure" of someone being (in the same room especially) near me. I don't know if that is psychic or not, as I'm not very educated in the subject. I don't feel like a vampire, but what the heck do I know lol

I know exactly what you are talking about, and it is true... A lot of the times the "vampire" isn't even aware of what he is doing. This is actually part of my reasoning behind my research, to make more people aware of the energies around them, and how to/not to manipulate them.

To start with by vague definition, you are in fact a psychic vampire. At least the way one is described being so in 90% of the material I have researched. Your not a blood sucker or necessarily an energy theif, but you are very much aware of the energies around you. I will enjoy working with you if you are interested.

There are stories upon storied about why sone are psychic vampires and others are not. Everything from alone souls from far away galaxies to ancient blood lines. I however believe we all have this ability, some are just more aware of it than others.

Being in karate for most of my life, I've study the ancient art of "chi flow", being a Christian I believe in God's energy, and through my studies I've found that almost all societies people have discovered this energy and given it different names.

Name's James. I have already been energy aware since I first healed someone. Since then I have been building up energy from the beginning and have no way of using it on what is needed.
This isn't the first time someone like you has studied on something like this. To add to your collection of how energy works looks for a movie called "The Celestine Prophecy" it shows what a person sees when he/she is energy aware. There is also a book called "The Celestine Prophecy: An Experiential Guide" which tells more on how one can uses the energy inside to help themselves and others. As well as other reasons why things of a negative nature are happening around the world

Nithaiah, as the name indicates, my practicing name. Real first names...no thankee. I'm interested but not on board, per se... the details have not yet transpired. I'm one of those who likes to read the fine print.

I'm already reasonably good at modifying my own energies, and taking heed of what's around me. Not too interested in devouring others. But if it leads to refined skills, I may be game for it.

How about the term "Power-seekers"? This is another word for "Energy Vampire". However the opposite of a "Power-seeker" is a "Power-creator", one who shares the power/energy inside and gives it away and in return, gets it back 2 fold.
