I am IRATE!!! Poker is one of the only things I do to get my mind off the corruption in this country. Two questions before I flip out.

1) Can individuals get fined/charged for playing over the past several years?

2) Does Bodog Poker still work, and other poker sites? Will those be shut off for us in the Ugly Society of Atrocities?

Son of a...

Knew my other online home would be talking about it.

Individual players won't be targeted. Two sites I play at have both assured me they will not disclose any player info to the US government. The third site, Poker Stars, will not respond to any communication attempts either via email or phone. Most poker forums, have no further info from Poker Stars(largest site in the world). Don't panic folks! I've read hundreds of posts on poker forums where people are claiming they are withdrawing funds or trying to. I say give it a couple days and see what comes out.

I heard that also from someone at a table, but do not know if it is true or not.
I am playing right now, but I logged in earlier this evening(several hours ago), and haven't signed out.

BUT, I am not going to stay logged in. I will log out in awhile, just not sure when.
Whenever I do, in an hour or so probably, I will try to log back in and see what happens.

If I click the withdrawal button on FTP, I'm still getting this message-

We could not establish a secure connection to the server. Click retry or contact Customer Support at [email protected] and include this error message in you e-mail.

Is customer support answering emails at FullTilt? They are not at Poker Stars, not even a peep.

i tried to withdraw on full tilt, and got 2 different results about 15 minutes apart: first when i clicked on the "check" option i got a message saying something like "due to actions undertaken in US today", etc., there can be no withdrawals right now, but they will keep people posted; then the second time i got all the way to the end and when i clicked the confirm withdrawal button, it said my request could not be processed at this time...

I haven't tried to email them. I don't really have any money on there.
All I have is money I've won from freerolls. I had it built up, then I lost most of it. I've only got $19 on there now. I'm not concerned about it, but I have just continued to click the 'withdraw' button, just to see if it changes.

Pokerstars couldn't answer emails because the FBI seized their .com domain.

Pokerstars has already set up a new domain here:

www.pokerstars.eu...

Anyone with questions for pokerstars support can reach them at [email protected]

shocking, poker websites based in little known canadian native reservations and off shore islands, are charged with embezzlement and tax evasion.

the definition of a sucker are people who play highstakes with the likes of phil ivey on fulltilt, which he is part owner.

if you don't think he can see your hole cards on his screen, or the "random" card generator doesn't favor the poker "pros" then you should have your head examined.

i once had pocket kings, the flop came kka, i bet, the turn came another ace, great i have 4 of a kind with an ace kicker, i bet again, the river came it was a low card. i push all in and get called. guess what the other guy had. all i can tell you is i lost with 4 kings. incase your still wondering he had pocket aces.

another time i was playing and in the span of 5 hands, i saw a straight flush, and a royal flush.

odds of that happening are probably in the billions.

these things are so corrupt and bogus, i can't believe anyone would actually put money up, especially high stakes.

if you want to play poker, go to a casino. at least there all you have to worry about is tipping arrogant dealers.

I'm broke anyways so it doesn't matter. I would not want to deposit much onto the site even if I did have money, but some Pros have lost alot of money online. Some amateurs have won alot of money online.

So I don't really buy into "Ivey being able to see your hole cards".
Have you ever watched him play?
He doesn't need to see your hole cards.

As far as odds of certain hands appearing within any time frame- People always use that excuse when they lose, but never want to factor in the amount of hands that you see online compared to the amount of hands you would see in the same amount of time if you were playing with real cards.

Merge network is still up for those looking for a place to play.

Sportsbook.com is part of the Merge network, great place if you want to bet sports, horses, or play online casino games too.

Personally, I'd stay away from Cake.

I gave up on the poker sites listed, but I did this of my own free will. But for a government to tell me I can't play is a sure sign that the government is a bit confused. WE THE PEOPLE tell YOU (the government) what you can and cannot do. You don't tell us!
