I can't help but think, if it is a 'first' (and a 50 ft snake would be) that the people who uncovered it would have done a bit more. one photo just isn't going to make me believe. I *do* think that there are larger snakes out there. But I need more proof than one photo.

Impossible . Any serpent of such magnitude would have been documented and claimed real by professionals and biologists around the globe.
