I notice you are in the SE, as I am. If this is the US's SE, then we both probably have seen a lot of this.
It does recur, and usually takes more than one course of antibiotics. Doctors that treated me have told me that they come down with it repeatedly,
also.
Many times, to avoid touching the patient, I was told, these "spots" are diagnosed as spider bites, since they look very similar. Blood work is
rarely done.
The good news is that it can be beaten.
