This is my first post,so here goes.
Was browsing the net and saw this and not sure if it's been posted.

Obama: I Was Born in Hawaii, Don't 'Have Horns

What really caught my attention was the "Don't have horns" part....
Obviously this is because of Trump and the birther issue he is responding to
but has anyone said something about him having horns?
Is he trying to defend someone accusing him of being the anti-christ?
I no some people do think so but to defend it before the issue is raised...

I'm pretty sure he's equating the ludicrousness of the birther claims with the claims he is the anti-chirst, and the like.

Is the 'Birther' argument really just a way to discredit reasonable criticism of POTUS?

Probably trying to tell people he's not an evil fraud. When you have to deal with people as irrational as the tea party and birthers you have to try to speak their language.

Bad president? Certainly not the best. Antichrist with a fake SSN? Probably not

What Republicans? The vast majority who have said this is a manufactured issue? The Republican Senators who have said so repeatedly? The Republican candidates who ran against Obama in the last election who have said it's nonsense?

Standard response to a legit accusation that you can’t disprove. Instead of providing evidence you equate the accusation with something totally absurd.

Translation: I Was Born in Hawaii, Don't Have Proof

I suppose since the anti-christ will not be from America.
Just thought it weird he put those 2 together himself...

Honestly I don't think he is the anti-christ...there are too many people that hate him.
That isn't a political statement...just an observation.
But on a side note I hate seeing people on message boards start throwing around the "stupid republicans" this and "socialist democrats" that...
If people don't start to realize that the politicians in both parties are the same & the whole goal of focusing people on polarizing views is to divide our immense power as "THE PEOPLE" then we're screwed...

Interesting how he talks about himself in the third person. I think his statement is very arrogant, once again divisive and actually not very intelligent.

To be POTUS you have to be a "natural-citizen" - not just a plain old regular citizen. It is a special requirement for the office of President. The Founding Fathers made this a special requirement for good reason. They thought by so doing they were helping to ensure that our President had some natural allegiance to this country and was free from foreign allegiances.

It does matter whether Mr Obama (?) is a natural-born citizen. The question has not been satisfactorily ansered for me and not for alot of other people. This man attempts to marginalize in very demeaning fashion anyone who doesn't agree with him. That's pretty insulting.

Care to Explain in more Detail your Belief of the Irrationalability of said Tea Party Members and the Eronious Labeled " Birthers " ? When someone makes a comment like that , it is Usually followed by Concrete Reasons for such claims .

I agree.

I wish he would just show them what they want to see and put this issue to bed. However, I think he has waited to long and even if he does show them the long form they are demanding it will be to late. They will just say that he manufactured it and keep this issue alive, but it would shrink their ranks a bit.

They are in the same category of those who don't believe we have been to the moon. No matter the evidence, they will still believe what they want to believe.

i have to clarify something i am not a birther i know the only way to get rid of obama is to vote him out

i have many many legitimate reasons for wanting him out of office but where he was born is the least of my problems with him.

Excuse me what Evidence?

That is the whole point he has shown NO verifiable evidence. WHY is this so hard to understand?

If he could produce it without some kind of embarrassment he would have. If the Hawaiian governor could find proof he would have. 1+1 really does equal 2, jeez.

Do people really lack any ability at all to think logically? There is no other explanation other than he has something to hide.

I didn't say he had horns,
I said he may possibly be hundreds,
if not thousands, of years old and helped found America.

In that thread right there. It's almost 2 years old now.

I kind of gathered that you aren't a birther when you refered to the as "those dummies".

I think along the lines of how Trump thinks on this issue. He knows their is a reason he won't show the long form and wants to know what that reason is.

I think its because something stupid like the religion portion says that he is/ was a muslim. People will jump to the conclusion that he is still a muslim and not realize that as an infant being born a few hours before hand, he had no say so in what was written in that little space.

I agree he is hiding something.

But it isn't that he wasn't born in Hawaii.

I'll never understand this issue. We're not talking about someone getting a job at Payless Shoes here. This is a man who applied for the highest positional job in America, essentially the boss of EVERYONE in America, and they don't think that the FBI, CIA, or any other government agency performed background checks on him?

If he really wasn't born in America, then this conspiracy goes higher than Obama himself, or the democratic party. Those that hold this belief would have to admit that BOTH parties have been compromised and the electoral process has been taken over by a higher power, one that us peons know nothing about. Is that the case, or do the birthers actually believe that one man was able to outfox the sneakiest and most conniving agencies in America?
