NYC Emergy systems testing on cablevision.

Lately I've been seeing this thing go off almost every night. Back in the days they would only do these tests about once a week or so. I have also seen alot of signs on bus stops which read are you ready for a disaster. Who knows maybe we are somehow indirectly being warned to prepare for a large scale natural disaster.

Do you mean "Emergency System" or Energy System"?
Hard to tell from your post.
Either way, I would be either preparing or getting out of town.
Most likely the latter.

or
"when the time comes, will you be prepared"
followed by a url for a government website.

Here in NH, I've been seeing Emergency "monthly" broadcast tests literally almost every day, one day it actually came on 6 times in a couple hours.

I live in Massachusetts, close to Westover Air Force base and I have noticed the same thing. I have been wondering why they have been doing the "required" monthly Emergency Alert system everyday?! I subscribe to Comcast cable. Also have heard more then ever on the radio. I listen to 93.7 out of Hartford,CT and WEEI out of Boston most of the time. I heard it tonight around 7:45pm on the Celtics pregame show. Just wanted to share with my ATS family. Maybe we can start to put together a pattern and see if this is a new routine or is it all over the U.S. and we need to get prepared for something? Especially if its a local phenomenon it might be a warning??

Yes that is the same sign I've seen and another green one.

Ive noticed also that the emergency broadcast system has been doing daily tests in my area as well, usually at night, around 2310hrs been wondering about that myself. my gut tells me something is around the corner.

i really don't understand why this post ended up in the "highly speculative topics" section of the site. its proven that the government is in fact telling people to prepare for a disaster. factor that in with all of FEMA activity along the new madrid fault line. the government is definitely preparing for something big. i dont understand how this post is "speculative" in any way.
