If Obama is re-elected in 2012 I will start seriously worrying that maybe all those doomsday prophecies will actually come true, not the end of the world of course, just the end of the dollar, so it could happen after 2012 but I would be willing to bet around 2016 when Obama is finally gone from office, but then what? A new conservative? A new '9/11'? There are only two parties, so this story has to recycle all over again, it already is happening with Obama and Clinton. Oh boy this is like a bad and unintelligent nightmare. But exciting! If you don't laugh you'll cry, so it I'm laughing.

In the Obama/Soros plan, the rich get richer, while the poor get poorer.
You think that is an Obama plan? You think that is something new under the Obama Administration? I got news for you. That has always been the case. Open a History book.
Yes, it sucks. I hate that these latest budget cuts will affect medicare/medicaid here in Texas. Cutting spending by 33 % when Texas is already 49th in the country for how much it spends per medicare recipient.
As usual, the poor and disabled pay first. Why? Because they don't have lobbyists to scare off the government pick pockets....
Personally, I would support a pay cut for the politicians in Washington. You think they would go for that? Hmm... Think they care more about their country or their wallet?
But yeah, I would support the US government taking a page from Lee Iacocca's play book. Don't know who he is? He single handedly brought back Chrysler from going out of business. How? He cut his paycheck to 1 dollar per year. Hey, he could afford it. All that money he cut from his paycheck went into the company and he saved it.
Now, let's see our government do that one! ( I won't hold my breathe)

I am just proving my point and clearing up misconceptions. I make sense and it just scares you. Lets keep this civil without you insulting me. There is no need for that.
By the way I am talking about section 8 housing which is one of those "hated" social programs you wish to end.edit on 13-4-2011 by dreamseeker because: (no reason given)

Though I understand your frustration, but by not par taking in the voting process, if your vote does actually count, ( which we all know its rigged anyways ) but for the sake of argument, wouldn't you want your vote to matter? Secondly, if you don't vote, then you have no grounds to complain with the end result!
If there even is an Election
Sorry,i just can´t see the US surviving much longer as it is.
Agreed....America can't survivev much longer as a Welfare Liberal Socialist movement. So, does an economic collapse act as a harbinger or a resurrection of the old values that DID make America great?
Sometimes you just got to throw a monkey wrench into the machine to get it to start working right again.
