I have a job because it fills a need that the middle class wants not because of someone with money.
I can go get a loan because the middle class bailed out your rich buddies so that theres a bank to go get a loan.
and I can live without my computer just fine, id like to see how youd do without yours though when your rich buddies decide to turn off your power because they decided the rates needed to be raised.

without the rich id still be in a home because a rich man didnt build my house, a middle class man did. Yes, it sucks. I hate that these latest budget cuts will affect medicare/medicaid here in Texas. Cutting spending by 33 % when Texas is already 49th in the country for how much it spends per medicare recipient.

After reading much of this thread I conclude that Mr Obama's speech today accomplished its goal of diverting attention from the real issues and reframing our nation's serious financial problems as a "rich" v "under-privelaged" format. Please people, REALIZE that this is a ploy to divert attention from the fact that the system itself needs reform. He is using our good hearts and human nature against us. Most people, I believe, really want the truly needy helped and most people are also little envious of "rich" folks.

If this guy can get us fighting between ourselves over diversions then we are not going to have the time or inclination to look squarely ate where the real problems lie. What about the Federal Reserve, what about all the fraud and redundancy in our social welfare systems, what about Wall Steet manipulations of the commodities markets, whar about corporate welfare, what about the growth of the government and intrusions into our privacy and civil liberties? The system needs reform, the abuses need to be addressed, special interest need to be disenpowered.

Reframing an arguement to suit you is a classic way of winning it. Don't take the bait. This man is a manipulative liar. He has an agenda and that agenda is not the good of America.

Your post shows that you do not really understand the way commercial loans work,

Loans for homes comes from a capital reserve fund which is composed of patrons money in the bank or institution. Regular folks money makes for the loans you speak of... That is how a bank works.
Rich people deal in other peoples money to mitigate risk and maximize potential gains, I am studying to
