I found this the other day.... I thought, how sad this is that our Gov. considers our military sons and daughters just "non-essentail" personnel.

*Letters from Iraq

Apr 12, 2011

Last week a U.S. Army Specialist stationed in Iraq wrote Judge Napolitano to explain how President Obama sent a letter to inform him that he was considered “non-essential” personnel in the event of a government shutdown.

SOOOoOoo....If our military personnel is so "NON-Essential", then maybe we should be sending our "Essential" members of our Governement to fight this war instead. Right?

Show of hands....who would like to send our congress men and women over to Iraq?
How about the president? He's pretty Essential...Right?

of course they are....do you think we would put essential people in a war-zone to be killed?

You need to think in terms of a war, where there is no doubt many will die.....They don’t put the military in the bunkers, they put the policy makers in them.....They are the essentials

Wondering....how many kids would join the military if they really knew what was written in the fine print.

The fine print should be bold and it should read like this....

"Once you sign up, you are no longer considered essential to this government you serve and die for.
Your life will be used and thrown away at any time.
If, indeed you survive the war on oil, you may be able to go home and begin your life again, unless we declare another war for our own purposes.
Once home, there is no guarentee that your life will ever be normal or you will ever get a job again.
We apologize for this inconvienance. Thank you for your support."

BTW...I love how our military has tageted gamers who like to play war games.(Sarcasim)
It's so fun and easy to sign up for the military by using online Army games.

www.americasarmy.com...

The official U.S. Army game has registered more than 4 million users and is now one of the top five games in the world.
