okay okay yes i have a hidden agenda by asking this question, and that is, of course, that i am looking for a new game!
i have been playing fallout3 and new vegas, new vegas was pretty good, but no where near as long as fallout3. i introduced fallout3 and new vegas to
my girlfriend's son and it was pure addiction from the moment he took the controller and created his character... we both beat new vegas within days,
but he has been working on fallout3 for a couple months. i have played and beaten it as both good and evil characters, i recently got the goty edition
with the extra missions (before going through it the 2nd time, so i have played all of the extras), and although i am playing through it for the 3rd
time now, i am about half way through and starting to get bored, only because i've done just about all there is to do on it...
so the reason for my question would be just that... what are you enjoying currently? i am thinking of dead space 2, i have read the reviews and it
sounds to be quite good and frightening, although it sounds like the game length is only 10-12 hours, where as i put at least 30 hours into my first
go at fallout3... so that would pose a subsection question, any games out there that are really fun and quite lengthy? i like pretty much anything,
would have to say besides fallout, i loved oblivion, but i also enjoy non-rpg, i love of course the halo series, all of them except odst and another
one, can't remember which one, but 1, 2 and 3 and reach were wonderful. i also love the resident evil series... and i am also thinking of getting
half-life 2 orange box, i have read that it is a pretty good deal and fun as well, i played the first half-life and absolutely loved it...
also, just to note, i
do not have xbox live, so the games would need to be geared towards offline...
any suggestions?
