I must be missing the joke here... This is like saying Mark Twain is a fraud because his real name is Samuel Clemens? What difference does it make if the author of these writings used a pen-name and that pen-name happens to also belong to someone else?

He was a spy and a courier pidgeon between the Britsh and Danish Monarchy ! Delivering incripted messages to the Monarchs in the upper balconies, during his plays . Alas, something is a miss in the state of Denmark !

Wow! I didn't realise ATS has now become a direct marketing channel for Columbia pictures in the guise of anonymous.

Are you serious? You think there is nothing to the story of a person that is portrayed as one thing and found out to be another. I see complete relevance to this issue. I started a thread a while back about Shakespeare possibly being Sir Francis Bacon.

Whoever he was, if he has an importance and is learned about today, yesterday, or any day, I would like to know the truth as best I can. This is what plagues us today. Excepting second hand, and trying to see the work of someone... and NOT the person.

I personally choose to see both, truthfully.

Peace, NRE.

If Shakespeare was a pseudonym someone chose it's his right no?

If he chose for whatever reason to remain hidden that choice should be protected.

This honestly looks like just a well written movie taking advantage of a controversy.
It belongs in the realm of Historical fiction.

I don't go to a well written movie to find facts.
A documentary with both sides of the issue discussed in a well articulated way would hold more weight.
Until then this seems like a great marketing ploy to draw attention to a movie.

the timothy spearman article starts with, "Shakes his spear at the twin serpents of ignorance and vice as did the venerable god Apollo before him with consort Pallas Athena at his side. The Spearman reveals Shakespeare's Codex to all the world, the M.O. of the front man employed for generations by the Illuminati-controlled intelligence services."
