Sorry I am new here and this is my first post put Japan was rocked a few minutes ago by another quake..this one a bit smaller. I will be looking for any info from HAARP as to if it could have triggered these quakes.

Wonder if they're playing "Here comes the bride"?

The religious end-time doomsayers would pee themselves in glee!

Don't really think it's HAARP. I would say it's probably pressure release, let's hope something big doesn't happen.

Year 211: “It was God who made the earth shake as a punishment for our sins!”
Year 2011: “It was HAARP which made the earth shake as a planned attack on people!”

When can we ever just grow up and accept the fact that Earthquakes happen, it is a natural event which regularly occurs throughout the world. It is not new, it is not divine punishment, and it is not a conspiracy, it is just nature. Please remember Japan had a 9.0 earthquake and will have many aftershocks for up to a year or more, it has only been a month. Sometimes aftershocks can be almost as bad as the original quake, so 6.1, 7.1, 6.6 and do not have to be some conspiracy.

you are right, its totally natural that the earth and namedly the pacific ring of fire is and has been shaking.

no conspiracy there.

the only conspiracy here is how come all the hot spots around the ring of fire have had a recent high mag shock, all but one...

there is no fun, until california gets one.

Agreed.

I do not doubt the possibility of celestial bodies having an effect upon the earth in that regard. So I do believe that is a possibility which should be explored. But even then it would still be a natural event which regularly occurs, not a divine punishment or conspiracy.

thanks for the heads up cheftim - and congrats on your first thread! You're braver than I am - I haven't started one yet. Seems like so many ATS'ers just wait to jump on the newbie - I love the constant new threads that give me up to the minute information without having to do massive searches for it. ATS is THE place to go for real breaking news!

I agree 100%! The Greeks had a god for everything, here on ats we replaced them with conspiracies.

There are many really important things going on in the world that need to be known.

But threads about a perfectly normal (and 'minor' in the context) aftershock earthquake....
1. Make it harder to find important information in the noise,
2. Make ATS look like a complete joke, a kokoo site with paranoid schizophrenics who see conspiracies everywhere.

Keep it up, and nobody will ever take ATS seriously.

true,

but i like to think outside the box

so lets flip the haarp theory upside down

lets imagine haarp is actually a weapon, not to provoke earthquakes but instead to neutralize them.

something like it could generate some sort of atmospheric or energetic pressure that keeps a plate in place keeping it fixed and free from earthquakes.

now picture that, haarp is like a nail keeping california in place

still the earth needs to shake as its a natural process.

so with that in mind, imagine you are working with some electric tools that vibrate, and your work area is an unstable board over the table, the vibration is gonna spread around the surface and make the board vibrate and move around, makin it impossible to work.
so you decide to clamp the side of the board you are on to keep it from vibrating. wich it does.
but the part of the board that isnt clamped is still gonna vibrate, but way more violently than before.

now apply this analogy to the pacific plate

I believe that earthquakes are a natural part of the earth's "cycles" or what have you, but I do find it quite odd that on average the east coast of Honshu, Japan receives at least a 4.5 magnitude earthquake every 2 hours or so.

quakes.globalincidentmap.com...

Over the past few days I've been tracking the time between these large quakes and it's just very strange to me that's all. I'm sure some of you have visited this site, but it gives you an idea of when/where/how big earthquakes are around the world...pretty neat!

I've been batting this idea around in my head since Friday. Very well-said. If other subduction zones in the ring of fire could absorb a shock intended for California/Pacific NW, and if the technology to pull this off exists, well it's looking and quacking like a duck...
