Would the US government rig an election for ' second term ' ?

Thinking about this in terms of ' knowing to much ' would the US government make sure a president remained in office depending on the level of highly classified information they've been infomed of ?

Is this so far fetched to think of?

Why wouldn't they bend a few rules for the sake of highly classified information.. seems they've allowed the magical disappearance of Obamas Social Security card and birth certificate slide, so why not another term in office as well ?

The US government.. honest abiding by the law citizens?

I don't see why not. They did it for Bush Jr. in 2004 when Ohio was as dubious as Florida in 2000. For that matter, they got Bush in office in 2000 under Supreme Court order. Democrats aren't any different. Same puppetmasters, this time it's just the left hand instead of the right hand.

Not only would they, I believe that they will. The NWO/PTB agenda for the USA is more easily advanced by the left. Socialism/communism is already well advanced here, with more advances on the way. Our republic is lost people. Unless we do something serious we will end up like the Chinese. Not the nation, though that too, I mean that the American people will be living in the same conditions as the Chinese people.

I believe it to be a "moot" point, really. As long as the majority of the people continue to be fooled by the two party paradigm and easily hypnotized by nightly news, they can throw a chimpanzee up on the screen and declare it the victor and nobody will do anything about it. We always have protesters and dissenters --but when do we get to the point when the people stand together and do something about it?

This illusion of "voting" every 4 years is getting kind of loathsome.

Why would you even ask that question? Of course they would. It has probably happened many, many times before.

That being the case, I wouldn't put it past the de-facto US government to do anything at all -- anything sneaky and corrupt and vile -- the object being to destroy the US as quickly as they can. And they're well on the way to success

Yes they would. It is that simple. They are deff not above lying to us.

Most people are still under the delusion that it actually MATTERS who is sitting behind the desk... Those who really make the key decisions are always still there, regardless of terms. While there is some real power there (veto ability and executive orders), most of it is more for show unless you are a POPULAR President.

I always thought that was the general assumption. Why don't you ask Al Gore and see what he thinks an election could be rigged?
