they tried to leak the secrets to a major broadcaster, not realizing that all major media is run by the CIA and NSA? even if members of the military wake up to the conspiracy, they have no idea how deep it really runs, so any efforts to do the right thing for all mankind by spreading the truth will fail miserably...

I respectfully disagree. I have seen a lot of change in my direct environment the past few years.
It used to be that virtually nobody knew about the elites, how they are against us, but now a lot of people that I know understand this but are waiting for a trigger to stand up and say "We have had enough!".

Having people in the military and police wake up is a truly wonderful thing since they are supposed to be the ones that will turn against the population if we start to resist on a greater level. The more military and police members wake up, the harder it will be for the elites to turn them against us.
I'd rather have 1 military colonel wake up than 10 civilians since that one colonel has the direct and indirect power to wake up considerable masses in the armed forces.

You can not suppress a revolution if the "tools" (Military & Police) you want to use for the suppression, know your goals are in conflict with their own goals and sense of morale.
Most people that join the military and police (Like myself), do so because they have a desire to change the status-quo... To fight for a better future and to make this world a better place for the next generation.

Ask yourself. If 2 Officers are so fed up with the status-quo that they risk everything that they have by leaking info, then how many other individuals in the military and police are there that know the truth and want to fight, who are only waiting for the support of the population?

i have a feeling that the truth they wanted revealed is that there is no
war going down in libya and that it is media fakery that the rest of
the world is being sold.

I think the SAS was trying to tell us what we now already know.....

they were already on the ground many weeks before the lead up to France, Britain & the USA's air invasion AND the rebel leaders ARE Al Qaeda operatives.

In fact, I'm pretty damn sure there were operatives and ground forces already arriving in during Egypt's revolution......that was used as a cover.

Wow, this is sad. I wonder if the media reported them to the government.

I think its a possibility that they were trying to get word to the media about the idea of attempting to put a diplomatic team into Libya. The plan failed as we are already aware, and ended in the capture of a helicopter full of SAS and the diplomatic team, by the rebels in Libya.
The thing is that when an operation involving such legendary warriors as those who are deemed fit for SAS or SBS service, is being planned it should be the sole choice and responsibility of the commanding officer of the unit, and no one else.

These fellows have intimate knowledge of war as it is fought in every single theatre past or present. I would have thought that the issue we are seeing come out now, was probably an attempt by sensible members of the SAS/SBS and thier support groups, to get the word out that they were going to Libya BEFORE the trip was made. I believe the reason for this is that the special forces men know, far better than do the suits and strategists, that in the sort of situation which prevails in Libya, if you go there you either go by invitation, or you at least let your target contact know you are comming.

If you show up without any warning, in a military aircraft, with a bunch of the hardest , meanest most dangerous men in the world, then quite rightly, you and your diplomat buddies are getting detained, and you ought to be GRATEFUL to be detained, rather than say, blown up, shot to rags, and violated in every single way.

They've said in the media we have a small number of SAS troops on the ground liasing with rebels and laser pointing targets for air strikes, Obviously we never see any evidence ethough...

Do wake up this constant naivete is getting out of hand.No bomb would hit accurately without lasing folks, the US doesn't want to get it's hands dirty. Even US contractors are being watched by you and others so we subcontract all the wet stuff to seasoned experts from England who have what is called "D notice"
No proof...unless you actually ask an SF vet,who is light years better than the news.
