I like that you did add march but... Lets just say i would be more impressed if you used some type of science.. Not an "i closed my eyes and this name in the ring of fire magicly came to mind"

Say, had you said where it would be located.. This area wasnt really the most active for japan and that size (not to mention a 9.0 over 50 times larger then an 8.0)

geology.rockbandit.net...

earthquake.usgs.gov...

As you see, this is japan and the ring of fire people... Is it so much to say somewhere in the japan area of the ring of fire we will have an earthquake next year? Yeah, prob will.. Dont take it as a prediction though, just the way things work.. IE adding march still credit my friend... Also, going from youre origional post you can do this again, so if you want validation you could always start the next prediction and we can wait and see... You know as well as i do how many times things like this are predicted here, and how rarley that works out.

well if japan moved west to the ocean with the 9.1..
than there has to be an crack at the east side of japan...

Japan moved east towards the ocean, not west... the other plate moved west

The whole country didn't move that 8 feet, only a part of it... so I would expect cracks in other places. Some of those cracks are right under Fukushima.

Now at the same time that Japan jumped west, the subduction plate moved east 24-30 meters along a front of several hundred miles... that would mean there would have to be a BIG crack somewhere towards the west.. if the whole plate moved we would expect activity along California

Seems to be a subject you like... Have you made these types of predictions in the past and if so did they pay off?

It is just astounding what Japan has has to deal with since the Big quake
on the 11th of march.
It does seem as if the many volcanoes of the earth have become more active,.
the thrown around theory of the earths core heating up could be plausible?

when I was in the 1993 Ithaca hospital, for 20 days, near dying, I had a dream. the Indian God Shiva was shown to me, He was above the earth and radiating downward into the earth, to what looked to be 150 miles down, through the semi-transparent ground. He was radiating what looked to be huge creatures, entities that lived in the magma. He was stimulating these things to further stimulate the magma, and with, while not shown to me, with probable results of earthquakes and volcanoes.

yes, impossible, this dream.
laugh, please!

but SYMBOLICALLY?!
---"god" is the sun, by symbolism, and its particle radiation is stimulating, i suspect, the magma, and now the sun is becoming much much more active, thus more stimulations! a record solar activity, in fact, is soon due!

So I do not laugh.
maybe you not laugh either!

So you are saying i will have to use chinese parts in my zxr soon??

You cant just evacuate japan or tokyo over assumptions. Even if you are sure and it looks possible, it is still a huge move. Two years down the line they can go back to japan from others military camps spread across the whole world, seeing as nothing happened? You will find that maybe the japanese would rather stay on their homeland regardless of the danger.

What I would like to know is are you maybe anticipating this event a bit too much? You can spread awareness and stuff, not a problem, but it bothers me when people get so into it and almost seems to me they subconsciously urge the event to ease their mind and to also show they were right?

If you ask me, in our evolution, like with the financial system crashing, maybe this is japans chance to go full on clean green and set the benchmark for the rest of the world with clean energy and zero emissions? They are the technological ones atm

Couple other sources carrying it

The 13 active volcanoes is in danger after the serious earthquake
linkoneworld.com...

Mt. Sakurajima Explode – Volcanic Ash Alert issued!
March 29, 2011
thewatchers.adorraeli.com...

i notice in that linkoneworld site, above, this.

Including 13 volcanoes, including Mount Fuji in Japan earthquake 11 increase in seismic activity observed, covering the Kanto region, central region, and the Japanese mainland, the southernmost region.

there was an article I read, about a year ago, somewheres, that some scientists there in Tokyo were afraid that Fuji was beginning to stir and maybe everyone was in denial of this! Here the very embodiment of their Shinto God, could erupt and these scientists were also worried about that fact that the vent of Fuji was well plugged, thus in recent small eruptions small cones have taken the pressure off, on the side of the volcano. what these scientists are MOST afraid of, is Mt Fuji EXPLODING!! this could wipe out the whole Kanto plain, taking Tokyo and the rest of the nearby cities with it, within minutes!! 15 million-plus, gone!

Wow, so let me get this straight, since the earthquake in japan they are now able to predict when earthquakes and volcanic eruptions will occur. Yet another silly thread by the schizo members of ATS. Just like the pointless yellowstone threads that go nowhere.YAWWNN.....

Well NHK news predicted a 6.2 quake ten minutes before it happened and turned on the cameras waiting for the shake. We saw it live... Don't be an idiot and pay attention to what is being said and is happening

Now you are calling others clueless but,..

So with that, I just did a couple of hours ago another session where this time I got more specific. I asked, "Where will the next 8 magnitude or above earthquake occur," and kept my mind open. No thoughts came at first, but then "Japan" popped into my mind. I asked the same question again. And again, after a brief period, the same word came back into my mind: Japan.

This from the prediction you made... So basicly you read, close youre eyes and it all just comes to you... Yeah...

Yup, its nothing odd for japan.. Tokyo has even been taken out in the past... They get a pretty large quake every year. Busisness as usual.

Sn F for being on top of this stuff going on with Japan. Still Germany the only country to get the hint and shut down their nuclear reactors. As far as I what I understand anyway. There are tons and tons of warniings for the west coast and no one is even protesting that we shut down the coastal reactors at the least. WTF Why ? Why not at least attempt the appearence of humanity having some brains. I guess Germany is the only one ?
Repugnant.

If someone stupid enough to build a nuclear reactor on one of the greatest fault lines in the world... Yeah, busisness as usual.. Blame mankind, not nature.

The japanese are great, seriously with motorbikes, they stole the show. People had triumphs back then, and they would break down all the time and leak oil. You would be lucky to ride a new one home intact. The japanese came out with bikes that were so solid in that time, the riders used to past the triumph boys who were fixing their bike on the side of the road

The japanese will take what you have and make it better, faster and cheaper. I havn't been to japan but they have been exposed to the western way, and they have become more of individuals so to say, with their own voices and actions. This disaster...they could turn this on its head and stun the world once again, but for an even better cause.

You think they are going to go nuclear after this? You think they arnt going to be on a mission to prevent tsunamis or atleast put in good solid safety measures? To prevent quakes or make the posible damage vastly smaller. Don't under-estimate them, we could just sit back and strike a goldmine for mankind with them and their capabilities

Before a big eartquake, there are always "warning" shakes and this happend on march in japan too, but in this area the quakes are so ofthen, that they didnt imagined it will be so big. Also keep in mind, they have 55 reactors and only one went wrong....

well , we dont have long to wait for this one,.
but regardless,. ya just cant trust governments.
I just looked at a pic of MT fuji,.
If it is recent,. according to google,. I would be seriously amazed
if Fuji erupted tomorrow,. as it is entirely coverd in snow. and no current
signs of magma movement

I watched the Nova documentary this evening and they were claiming that the release of stress off northern Japan put more stress on the fault further south just off Tokyo. That sounds like it will end badly sometime in the next decade or so with a mega quake but the fault may release stress more gradually rather than just snap. I have a feeling that the predictive science for earthquakes is more advanced than P wave detection. They may have a good handle on probability but since Japan is more or less always expecting a quake they wait till the P-wave indicates an event in progress.
