Huge Asteroid Encounter Due in November!

mark your calendars on november 9 because asteroid 2005 YU55 will pass close by earth.

Those are two different near earth objects though, right? Comet Elenin is C2010X1 and this is 2005 YU55. So, we potentially could have two close fly bys in the fall of 2011? Sweet.

It's been on the NASA NEO webpage for a while now, and it will be the nearest recorded pass at within .85 LD of a fairly large object, around 400mtrs, there was a 1mtr rock within the same distance in February this year.

this isn't nibiru, nibiru is bigger than that asteroid.

At 11th magnitude no way, not even with 20/20 vision. The human eye cannot see past magnitude 6* So my amateur astronomy books ive read over and over and over growing up said.

it said it could go up to magnitude 11

We won't see it with the naked eye.

Remember, less = greater in magnitude...

–12.74 = moon
–26.72 = sun
–2.94 = Jupiter

So on and so forth.
