As my post was implying (which you seem to have glanced right over) happiness does not MATTER. I can "think" myself happy at any given time. Its just an emotion man, don't rely or think happiness means anything. Its an emotion that comes and goes just like anger, lust, greed, selfishness and so forth.

And again, I'm not asking if it matters, I'm asking if you are. BTW, until you prove that afterlife exists, happiness will still be the ultimate goal of life.

Do you see how silly your premises is now? It really is a weak argument with no point to it.

P.s. Yes, reading my Holy King James Bible, and talking to my Savior Jesus Christ does make me happy. But I am never happy ALL the time. If you are, then your either on drugs, or mentally handicapped.

Thank you for finally answering (kind of), but you should read some of the posts, it is impossible to be happy all the time, if you where, happiness would have no meaning, because without sadness happiness is nothing. BUT, it is possible to have an overall happiness (opposed to an average sadness or depression).
