what would be safe without turning blue.?

well if the guy is still drinking the colloidal silver than I guess he hasn't even learned his lesson from his own after school drug program. Plus he says rubbing it on his face made his skin blue (which he probably is still doing :@@ If this guy stopped I bet his skin would return to normal.

at least the colloidal silver won't give him liver cancer like alcohol!

He got this condition by taking his homemade silver compound that was mostly a highly concentrated ionic silver solution. When he prepared the solution he believed he was making colloidal silver. He was not making colloidal silver. To make the solution even more dangerous, he added salt to the brew and then used electrolysis to make a high concentration of silver chloride with large particles which is well known to cause argyria. He further applied the compound to his skin causing him to become an internal and external photographic plate. To finish himself off, he used a tanning bed to "fix" the silver in his body. The moral of the story is to know the difference between true colloidal silver and ionic silver or silver proteins, and don't try to make either at home! (True colloidal silver cannot be made at home.)

You really have to take a lot to have that happen, that's why it is rare.
As for using the colloidal silver, my husbands family has a restaurant he is exposed to so many people and their ailments, the staff gets ever virus and bug going around, when my husband has the slightest tickle in his throat or starts to cough or get a queasy stomach he takes a tbs or so of silver and he is the only one...and myself who does not get sick when everyone else does. it works! I used to get bronchitis every year, first sign and I take a does and I don't get sick.

I've been taking true colloidal silver for more than 10 yrs, and I never get sick. There's a pic on my profile, check for yourself, I'm not blue. I'm a cashier so I constantly handle money, the germiest stuff there is. Colloidal silver is safe, just educate yourself first. Personally, I put it in a nasal spray bottle and snort it a few times a day.

I make my own colloidal silver and have been using it since the early 90's. I usually drink about 8 ounces every few months. I am not blue and very rarely get sick. If I do get sick I immediately drink a teaspoon a day and get better within 2-3 days.

There is a lot to be said for supplementing your body with vitamins and minerals.

wonder if it will do anything for smokers cough...? sore thoat and the like. is it a wonder drug?

Smoker's cough, no. Sore throat, yes. Wonder drug, perhaps. Actually, before the advent of antibiotics, colloidal silver was widely used as an antibacterial, antifungal agent and used in the treatment of over 640 diseases.

Ever looked at the ingredients of a hospital grade burn cream? Silver is one of the main ingredients. How about water filters? Yep, silver in some of them too.

The reason, IMHO, that colloidal silver lost favor to antibiotics is because the drug companies couldn't put a patent on it and antibiotics are much more profitable.

Can you buy this anywhere where you don't have to make your own? I would take it if I could get it already prepared.
