Good luck ATS might have something inside.

I know from past non ATS forum experiences the posters seemed to have all the answers.
Lets us say for arguments sake voices that differ in their opinions have a lot more to offer
than the sheeple forums that agree with the pied piper expert.
But we do like pie.

I've complained about the search function on ATS before, but I must say, I'm impressed with new search engine. It's like breathing fresh air after being suffocated for much too long. Awesome job. Thanks.

Hey SO, you should make a function that indexes every single youtube/google video that is posted on ATS. So before someone posts a YouTube video they can search for the video number ie: (yvid)abcd123(/yvid) to see if it has already been posted. That would help a LOT.

That is one of the best ideas I have heard on ATS! I would LOVE it! You nailed that one right on the head.

Yeah, seriously... The dates would be nice to have. It's annoying to have to open a thread to check the date it was posted.

Have an option to order by date, also. Oh yeah. I said that already. [grin]

Beats the default search function in terms of speed by miles.

Good job so far, AJAX is the way to go !

Now you need to add some more advanced search parameters to chose from.

Perhaps in the future we can have facial recognition as dell achieved.

I have not seen this particular function yet, and i am not sure if it fits in with the new ATS search, but if it exists please direct me to it, and if it doesn't i would like to see it:

Searching within a specific thread and only within said thread. such as if a thread has 50 pages or replies and i want to find every post that mentions word or phrase "X."

In existence, in progress, conceived?
