According to a new poll by NBC and the Wall Street Journal, Donald Trump polled second to Mitt Romney and tied with Mike Huckabee. Ron Paul nowhere to be found.

From my blog:

Looks like “the powers that be” have decided to just erase Congressman Ron Paul, R-Texas. This was a quiet, subliminal type snowball job.

Headline on Drudgereport.com 4/6/11, 9:00 PM-CST: NBCWSJ POLL SHOCK: TRUMP #2 GOP. Struck me as odd. Not that I think real estate magnate Donald Trump is an unworthy candidate for president, he could possibly help to make the U.S. some money instead of giving it away like we’re at some global casino. He does strike me as a bit of a gimmick, more an image of himself than himself in reality.

I must say Matt Drudge, “Bravo”. Your headline induced my index finger to click. I just had to see if Mitt Romney had come in third or fourth, or worse. Wait a second, Donald Trump #2 to Mitt Romney #1? Ron Paul fell to third? Holy smokes! Ron Paul not even on the list? Who in the world were they polling?

Now I realize Ron Paul doesn’t poll heavy in strong Neo-Con enclaves, but he does extremely well with independent conservatives; see CPAC 2010-2011 Straw poll results. This was a question asked only of those that say they would vote in the Republican Primary. Ron Paul was in the 2008 Republican Primary, he has been polling well on nearly all polls, and he is at least a choice on almost every poll. Why would NBC and WSJ keep him off the questionnaire? Better yet, how did Donald Trump get 17% when the best he has received prior was 1%?

I had to dig deeper into this poll, done collectively by NBC and The Wall Street Journal. Which I suggest you take thirty minutes and do the same. You will find many other examples of disinformation and propaganda by omission.

This is the first psy-op in what I believe will become a contrived effort to influence public opinion about Mr. Paul. It will be just as Mahatma Gandhi said, “First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win.” They will always ignore the most dangerous just in case they go away naturally.

The time to ignore Ron Paul and his ideas is passed. The liberty movement is gaining speed. People are slowly beginning to realize that they cannot and should not rely on the government at all. I am not surprised at the blatant Newspeak tactics and Doublethink. Nor am I afraid. The old dinosaur media is quickly truly becoming obsolete. There is no better example of this than in the explosion of alternative news sources. Sites such as infowars.com and abovetopsecret.com are experiencing amazing growth. ATS just reported Triple-Digit Growth Over The Past Two Years. Everyday people, who make up the vast majority of the population, are waking up to the fact that their peers are a wealth of knowledge. They no longer need a talking head to tell them who to like and what to hate.

I have one rule when it comes to trust. Especially trust when it pertains to information; Trust your family. Trust your friends. Trust your neighbor. Trust your pastor. Do not trust someone you’ve never met, someone who you only know through a t.v. on the wall or a speaker in your car.

Ultimately NBC and The Wall Street Journal should issue an apology to Ron Paul and all the readers of the poll. This is a clear case negligence by someone. Americans deserve to have all the options.

Of course he isn't. Why would they want to put someone in the spotlight who isn't in a corporations pocket and has decent values and ideas?

No kidding! Trump isn't a puppet for the corporations. HE IS A CORPORATION. People are effing stupid if they want this guy to run our country. You think he got to wear he is with morals, integrity, and compassion?

Everyone, DON'T LISTEN to the MSM about candidates. The MSM are controlled by those who want their specific puppets staying put with Business As Usual. The MSM are going to WAGE WAR in this regard. GET READY for that. Gird up your mental loins. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of the AIR (waves!). Those rulers of darkness and wickedness.
Every four years they pull this S**T and get away with it.

WAKE UP!

Ron Paul should forget about getting the Republican nomination anyways. He won't get it; and he doesn't need it. People are tired of BOTH parties, equally. For years we are forced to choose between the lesser of the two evils. Ron Paul should start preparations for running as an independent, winning, and getting this country back on track.

I noticed they excluded Ron Paul as well, He would have come in first. The video below just shows why we need him as our president.

Very astute. Should RP run under the Republican banner, I feel he will be thrown under the proverbial bus shortly thereafter...if he even attains party support for the run.

Running independent with a strong VP candidate will attract a large portion of the 'disillusioned' vote, methinks.

I don't think he will have a chance because of his son. People see who his son is now and most people would be afraid the apple didn't fall too far from the tree.

Definitely.

Who do you think should/could be his VP candidate?
Of course, Jesse Ventura has asked RP to run as an independent and he'd be willing to be Paul's running mate, but I don't think that's too realistic. I love Jesse--even his eccentricity, but on the big stage...I don't know.

I don't think they hide the fact that Rand Paul has the same philosophy. Granted we cannot use an extensive voting record to evaluate Rand as we can with his father. But I would trust both the Paul's over any other member of Congress.

When it comes to VP's for Paul 2012, we have to be realistic. Jesse Ventura, while qualified and trustworthy in my mind, might be a bit too wacky. Ron Paul will have to fend off cries of "conspiracy theorist" already. He doesn't need more attention to that.

I say Paul Ryan from Wisconsin. Young, energetic, willing to take a stand on spending, even in defense.

Plus the signs would say Paul/Ryan. Maybe fool the Neo-Cons into voting for actual small government.

I find it difficult to beleive that this article is legit. Especially when the man ( Ron Paul ) won the " straw Poll " two years in a row, with Mitt placing second?

Secondly, considering the poll was conducted by NBC, and WSJ, that alone says alot. Completely liberally biased, and full of spin...yeah..not buying it!

The people that run this country will not let a man like Ron Paul get anywhere near to an election...They pick people that can be used, blackmailed, threatened, etc....Most of the people they put in office are people of immoral character....In other words, a HE SLUT...They have stuff on these so called men (castrated males)...so they make them do as they say. You will never get a honest, moral man in the White House till a complete fall of what we have now....Every once in a while you have to clean the rest room and get rid of the stench.....

Fox news has also been shown to be in league with the Republican leadership (Rove, et al) and purposely downplay RP's popularity. It's all a charade to ensure their 'viable' candidate (Huckabee) is the only one nominated.
