An upper level low along the coast is rotating unseasonably cool showery air into the state this evening. This will give a mix of showers and sunbreaks with a chance of some late day thunderstorms.

arent all lightning strikes 'HUGE'? as in cloud>ground, do you meanthere was many forks? width? brightness?
i'm in no way convinced you saw anything other than a normal lightning strike...
