We do that here in Australia. Reservists and Regular platoons get deployed when natural disasters occur.

Not really a big issue I'd say. This is done in other countries. Nice to see taxpayer dollars actually in use rather than sitting around doing nothing.

I think the link speaks for itself. The US Army wants to deploy within the boundaries of the United States...It sets precedent ......
