Email going around - Kerry meets LaVey (head of Church of Satan).
LaVey says Kerry's religious beliefs are 'congruent' with the
Church of Satan.

Some on the internet say this is false.
Others say it is true and in line with Kerry's personality and beliefs.

Well for Pete's sake...this is absolutely ridiculous, misleading, and another ploy by those opposing him to stir the pot anyone believing this nonsense needs serious help. For one thing, when was that pic supposedly taken? LayVay looks too young there...

The story is an obvious fake, but I wouldn't put it past most politicians to be involved in this sort of thing.

wow, that pic looks extremely fake. I like how whoever did it put this big shadow of Kerry's nose in the picture to add "realism."

The sad thing is, there are probably many people who believe this is pic & article are true.

These politicians are too afraid to do something like speak out on the war on Iraq when it mattered--and they're going to commit political suicide by accepting an endorsement by the Church of Satan?

We we have freedom of speech in this country and to tell the true the same way bush preaches his christianity but still making millions for his buddys, well kerry can worship anything he likes, and by the way I don't beileive in Satan.

I figured folks here would be interested
to know that it's a hoax ... before they
get the email.

Now the question is ... is it just a 'for fun' hoax,
or was it conconcted by some politicians somewhere
to further either G.W.'s run, or further Kerry's run
by saying that it was started by G.W.'s folks when
it was really started by Kerry's folks so they could
say it was started by G.W.'s folks.

Definite hoax.

The web page did a good job of debunking it, and (as was said) the photoshopped shadows are just wrong. They'd have to be leaning on the wall (not standing in front of it) for the shadows to be that large and that dark.
