FBI Unveils 'The Vault,' Including Unseen 9/11 Records

Very interesting website, with lots of information. By just typing in ufo in the search box it brought up stuff from Roswell and other ufo topics. There were still stuff blacked out of course. But it could be fun for some of us on ATS to go there and rummage through the documents and perhaps put some puzzle pieces together.

Featuring searchable dossiers on characters as wide-ranging as Al Capone, Marilyn Monroe, Notorious B.I.G. and the 9/11 hijackers, the FBI has upgraded its online public records to provide more than 2,000 digitized documents.

It could be just one huge disinformation database.

Is this real? I thought it was an April Fool's joke since it came out on the first.

(I mean, obviously the documents are real, but I thought it was all just for fun)

Thank you . I showed it to my wife today and she was like, so whats the big deal. I figured some folks on here would appreciate it for what it is. I also noticed that on the bottom of the front page it says they will be adding more stuff to it so it should never get old.

2,000 digitized documents

wow... I think I have that many documents just in my mineral catagorization database alone... over 25,000 in my chemical safety database.... my top archive cataloguing a mind boggling 2.37 million documents related to law...


2000 documents that barely disclose sentence format, let alone contextual intent, somehow doesn't really appeal to me....

However....

If it's documents you want, I won't leave you standing alone and scratching your head! So with that said I invite everyone to stop getting marked by FBI tracking cookies while visiting thier bogus "vault" of non documents and just visit The Security Archives...

That's my vote. No reason to publish the truth for the public all of a sudden. Did they gain a conscience over night? Nope.

Just a teaser to misdirect us from the truth as always.

Their mission statement is 180 degrees to common sense...
They list Carl Sagan, Albert Einstein, Anna Nicole Smith, but don't list Cheney, Bush, Ashcroft.
I have respect for everyone on it...not disrespect.

The first page I looked at had more blacked out then viewable. It's probally just a way to avoid Freedom of information requests.
