...and he probably should have been paying attention to the road. Nevertheless, here is the story originally discovered at UFO casebook...

On Wednesday around 6:34 a.m., 22-year-old Brandon Sears said he was driving on Carolina Road just outside of Suffolk and spotted a mysterious floating object hovering in the sky. He said it was holding steady above a few houses for at least 10 seconds. Sears said there were three extremely bright lights side by side on the object. He said as he got closer, it moved over the road and flew past him.

And here is the video...

So what do you think that this gentleman has recorded?

No doubt.... It looked like he just turned the camera off??? you would think that he would want to catch some more defined movement?

From what I seen it could be anything from a plane decent or take off... to it being a chopper.
I dont know I wasnt the dude who recorded it

If that was off a bussy road then maybe there should have been more people to have seen it

IDK

No one pulled over.

Out of focus and disappointing.

Just another light in the sky Im afraid.
Sad that these "UFO" video sites don't do the
legwork to find out things like the pricise time,
exact location of the driver, direction the cam was pointed, the relation to local airport approach and departure patterns...etc.

They must want ATS to do all the work.

Sorry gang, we (ATS) have done dozens of these lights in the sky vids. Before you put some fancy alien face promo on it, please bring us the supporting and corroborative info.

Really??? Not to make an argument of it but right before it left the picture it appeared, at least to me, to be the clearest shot. The three lights that were described in the OS can distinctly be seen right before the object flew out of view where as in the zoomed and straight-on view the three lights can hardly be made out .

With that being said, I don't know what this object is but it wouldn't suprise me to find out that it was simply a plane flying at a head-on trajectory...

I saw something similar to that while drivng down the highway.. from a distance i was excited, always wanted to see something extrodinary. As i got closer it became clear, it was the goodyear blimp. I have no idea why it was in my area but the photo i took make it look very mysterious.

I can't wait until the day that the community sheds the large amount of ignorance that compels people to post such rubbish on here. Or maybe there should be a forum named "look what I found on youtube, a shaky out of focus, uncorroborated and meaningless video that I want to believe is an alien ufo"

There is nothing to be concluded from this blurry and shaky video. If it is not a reflection, then it is very likely a plane or helicopter.

The only real problem with videos like this and those that are compelled to post them (as if to shout "first!") is that people seem to immediately skip over the millions of reasonable explanations in favor of the least likely conclusion just because that one is more exciting for them.

And seriously, trolling youtube to find the answers to aliens and ufos is the work of a newbie poster, so that can be forgiven. But if you have been around a while and are still trolling youtube looking for little green men then the words "deny ignorance" obviously mean nothing to you.

Yep exactly what I think it was. Great pic
I also think it explains why the lights cleared up while the object flew out of view. Because they weren't glaring directly into the camera at that point.

I actually think that this is a great idea. If there was a constant flow of the most recent photos and videos and what have you, the specimens deserving of more attention could be moved to another bin. Maybe some kind of grading system could be used to let members know what they are getting in to before they check out the thread. That way one could discern between the general consensus on the material's quality versus hyperbolic taglines and make an informed decision before clicking said tagline.
Otherwise all we have on ATS for UFOs is the UFO and aliens forum. Sorry.
