NISA official says they are sorry they lied and won't do it again.

That excuse never worked for me when I was a kid, and these are grown adults playing with the health/safety of millions of lives, I really hope we see some lawsuits for negligence, sad to say but sometimes the only way a big corporation learns a lesson is through civil litigation.

Westerners might be cynical.

But in Japan, apologies actually mean something.
It doesn't fix it. But you know what? It's more than any American company would ever do.

Maybe so, but I just don't see what an apology is going to do for all these suffering people.

It's been weeks and still no aid for any of these victims, we need more action and less Public Relations!

Actually, a Normal Japanese Citizen's apology means something, the japanese officials that withheld this information.... I don't think so.

They were worried about their own stock market and economy... and that Nuclear Facility should have been closed down a long time ago due to Safety Violations....

That's true..

But also consider it this way.

Apology = Admission of wrong doing.

Admission of wrong doing = Lost Law suits.

But I think it's time the Japanese let the rest of the world join this game.. It doesn't seem like they have exhausted many options to stop the reactor.
