Strange Happenings on NSW Weather Radar Right Now

We had the same problem with BOM about a week ago
Thread about it somewhere around here *looks under the desk*

I can hope it is something whacky but I think it is just a radar having a hiccup

Fascinating seeing it on 3 different radar simultaneously... kind of rules out glitch IMO.

A little off topic but, Griffo... WHAT did that poor cat see?

The only way you will see it on 3 different radar site is if the image you are looking at is a composite image.

Of course the image is made up of a few images, one of them being from the Namoi radar, the only radar site to show the glitch. If you can see if from a different radar (and NOT a composite image), then show me and prove me wrong.

From where I'm looking, the Moree radar, at 256km doesn't show anything.

It seems obvious to me but if you want to believe it's a mothership or something, then by all means. go ahead...

I just some heavy rain here, a lot of cloud coverage etc, decided to check out BOM etc, saw a very weird pattern and decided to come here and what do I know? Someone already made a thread about it.

I like the way you think mate, But Im almost certain that weatherzone is completely independent of bom and elders weather, who use the same radars. i think your most likely right though, only time will tell!

That weater patern is over me right now, im at Newcastle, its been raining on and off, theres grey cloud every where looking east over towards the coast, and there is blue sky starting the show lookin west, but doesnt look as sinister as that photo, well it doest look sinister YET.
So i will be keeping a close eye on it.

Good - Go and get a bucket, leave it outside so some rain can collect. Then test it, post the chemical results on ATS and get a bunch of stars and flags.

I have a little compass I rarely use but I just tried it out, seems generally fine, maybe pointing slightly more eastern than I would've expected from where I've placed it, but it seems fine.

Weatherzone will still use the BOM radars though. They don't have their own.

Compass readings are correct. No anomalous activity.
Clouds moving NW at a consistent pace.
Rain on the NE horizon.
Patches of clouds to the South with partial Blue Sky Visibility.

Summary: Nothing out of the ordinary.

Nice, as there seems to be so very many of these circles showing up so very often, and quite a few people have been getting somewhat anomolous compass readings lately, and people have been wondering about any effects of weather mod/ HAARP- like EM systems (not sure what the reported facility(s) in Australia is called I'd have to look it up), well, I definately think it's something to keep and eye on and worth researching in general.

I did notice there seems to be no cloud cover showing up on the satellite over the area by the coast that someone said was getting rain and clouds. In fact most all of Australia looks cloudless on the satellite map. Maybe a different satellite map would show the cloud cover?

There is a small HAARP antenna array just outside of Toowoomba QLD...if i can find a photo il post it up.

Now if a mass animal die off occurs in the area, then things will surely get interesting.
