LOL....TEPCO is giving $220,000 to local governments to help the people (they probably want see 1/5 of this piddly amount of money)....High as the prices over there are that might help about 1/1000 of the displaced people.....

Engineers have stopped highly radioactive water leaking into the sea from a crippled Japanese nuclear power plant, a breakthrough in the battle to contain the worst nuclear crisis since Chernobyl. However the plant's operator, Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO), still needs to pump contaminated water into the sea because of a lack of storage space at the facility.

Does anyone else think this sounds a little ( radioactive ) fishy ?

Honestly I think it is a load of crud
Not 3 hours ago the same site was reporting how TEPCO were dumping 11,500 tonns of not-so-radioactive water in the ocean so they have somewhere to store the highly radioactive water :\
So what happens when that tank is full?

So now it is not being leaked into the sea, it is being pumped into the sea.

How can this be considered a breakthrough?

With all the lies and mis-information and the playing down of the whole situation from the very beginning of this whole thing, no I do not believe it.
