I know a lot of people have been a little worried lately about how close they are to fault lines etc., and wondering if they should move or what have you. A lot of Maps have been posted on ATS to help folks follow the activity around the world.

This Map below is pretty cool, because it will get a rough estimate of your IP address and show you how close, how recent, and size of any earthquake in your area. So in a sense it will make it a little more personal for you.Hopefully it will give you a better idea of what is going on around you as to how close or far you may be to activity.

Check it out and hope you like it!

That's quite interesting! Thanks for posting the link.

I know there's a bigger fault line waiting to go off in Tennessee, but it was fascinating to see that NC even has had some recent seismic activity. No place is earthquake-free.

Thanks for the response! Yes I have to admit I was rather surprised to see some of the activity that has been in my neck of the woods and I was totally clueless about it. They were only like 2's and 3's, but still.... Anyhow glad you liked it

Yes I hope more people check it out and kind of report how accurate it is. That is good to know it caught the one you had. lol So far so good in a weird way as no earthquake is really a good earthquake...

Yes indeed it most certainly does. I thought it was worth presenting to the ats family. Definitely more to look at besides just the one map. It also reports real time for around the world. Just seemed nice and simple to me of places to look more in depth elsewhere if something looks really big or bad.

hmmm, Im not sure why it would have done that. Maybe we will get a better idea of the map and how accurate it is after more folks look at it. That is the first I have heard of it being off by that much.
