If you are thinking about going to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, TN in the near future...you might want to read this first!

I am in Knoxville where I am receiving most of the news at this time. Gatlinburg is about 40 miles down the road.

GATLINBURG - City officials say they don't know how a wall collapsed on a sprawling tank at a wastewater treatment plant, sending millions of gallons of sewage water this morning into the Little Pigeon River and triggering a search for two missing plant workers

TDEC is advising the public against any contact with the river downstream of the plant.

Between this mess and hearing that Oak Ridge, TN has now detected radiation from Japan in our area, I don't know what to think anymore.

I hope we don't see an outbreak of ecoli from this stinking mess. Not sure if this can be cleaned up since it is flowing freely down the river.

Maybe the radiation will help kill the e-coli!

The sewage container is 70 ft. wide, 40 ft. high and 12 inch thick concrete walls. Not sure at this time what caused the wall to collapse.

They have not found the two missing men. I can't help but wonder if they aren't under the concrete.
They have been searching the river with no luck yet.
