Where there is smoke there is fire. NYC conducting Nuke dirty bomb reaction plans. Last week there was around 25 letter sent to people all over the United States claiming that there were 160 nuclear bombs hidden across the US. This week NYC is preparing in the event terrorist set off a dirty bomb in their city. They may be two unrelated headlines. NYC could have planned this event months ago. However it seems like despite our best efforts at some point and time were are going to have to deal with another Terrorist attack from our Islamic friends.

Looks like the tension is building in the Big Apple.

Well yay. I hope it's just them taking precautions so we don't have a disaster...but you never know.
I only have two major end times fears...Nuclear bombs, and a zombie apocalypse.

I'd love to see the results of these drills when they are complete. I bet one headline you WON'T see on MSM in the next couple of weeks - 'NYPD Fails to Locate Dirty Bomb During Exercises'.

I feel sorry for that city. Every ass clown in the world that is trying to make a point seems to want to make it in that city. The people that live there suffer. Before you know it that city is going to have to be run under some sort of marshal law or as a police state with all the nut's in this world.

LOL! I just have nightmares about it... I watch too many zombie movies.

How long has there been the possibility of a dirty bomb? 60 years? And now they want to do drills? It is just another way for politicians to look like they are doing something for the paycheck. They are running out of rights to take away so they are playing on peoples fears. Don't get me wrong, it is good to do the drills and keep a lookout for dirty bombs, better late than never I guess.

The last time an event happened in NYC wasn't there an excercise taking place which was a carbon copy of the event? Panes being hi-jacked I believe.

It also happened with the London bombings!!

You have to keep in mind though...When 9/11 happened the drill was just for NY..and that's where the most damage was done. They are getting letters saying the bombs are all over the U.S. So here's a question...is anyone else doing any dirty bomb drills?

Remember how some high up people where saying something big was gonna happen,and pack food for about 6 months ?,just saying

What about Chicago? I have a feeling that will be the next target. Obama's territory, shifty new mayor looking to make a name for himself. Keep an eye on when he's out of town.

Not a clue. I'd say if more people are doing drills, we should get prepared just in case. And if nothing happens, GOOD!

I could be wrong but I think NYC and other cities do this every couple of years.

I know I have been part of mass casulty exercises while stationed at military hospitals where we simulate nuclear and chemicle attacks. Most of them was simulated with the local fire, hospitals and police.

This isn't nothing new to me, I thought exercises like this was fairly common.

It seems you have to log in to their site to ge the dates for their exercises.

It's possible people (including myself) will be jumpy for quite a while when these drills occur because of what happened on 9/11. It was just way to suspicious looking. The trust isn't there anymore.

Always be prepared. Because # inevitably happens. There are nut jobs out there that are willing to die just to get that crap in the country so others can do it. Some messed up people out there targeting the united states.
