really becuase i must have missed the news where it was confirmed in either of those cases. The discovery of ET material or hybrid ETs would tend to make the news. Where is it? why arn't these claims accepted by the scientific community and which peer review journals were the results verified?

Ah, well so you need the news to tell you?

Obey your master!

I don't want to comment on the other elements of your post, but I would like to point at the usage of Occam's Razor as part of your reasoning. The example you add has nothing to do with the principle, I'm afraid. Basically that principle says that if one can choose between "explanations", "hypotheses",..., one should go for the version with the smallest number of assumptions.

Here's some Wikipedia-stuff about the subject.

This remark has no intention to validate nor contradict the statements you make.

a star to you for allowing me to rest, while you did the job of commenting on the sources the other participant was so kind to post.

You give him a star - for what exactly? His analysis is flawed like hell. He doesn't even know what National Press Club conferences are. I am sure you don't know that either. You are a lemming following the wrong traces. You have my pity.

Again, why was it so important to state giving him a star? Kids...

Thanks for calling me names. In doing so you just disqualified.

1. We are existing so there is a probability that the same has taken place elswhere.

3. Unknown if this planet has been visited by e.t. no solid evidence has every been presented. Unless something decides to show itself or we somehow stumble upon something concrete we still don't know...

What a load of bs, the worldwide scientific community deals with novel claims all the time, the reason your guys don't submit them for peer review is because they know only gullible people like you would fall for their crap and They would be shot down in flames by the scientific communit exposing them as frauds

a star for this post!

Now this This "lemming" "kid" as someone just called me - an ignorant person obviously, awaits the bashing from this example of some of the great minds on here, the masters of debate who dare to lecture others while offering Von Daniken as part of valid documentation :-)

YOU don't use logic. If you would you would check the facts that I have stated. And please show me where there is fiction included? Nothing I have stated is fiction based. It's only your prejudices that make you think so. No logic from your side involved.

You are nothing more than a "noisy negativist" like Staton T. Friedman would say.

And by the way, using Okkam's razor! Regarding the topic UFOs the only conclusion can be: UFO's do exist. Where there is smoke there is a fire. MANY people have seen UFOs. Many many many more than you could ever have friends. Pilots have seen UFOs. Radars have tracked UFOs. Astonauts have seen UFOs.

You are egocentric in the way I have stated several replies above. Because YOU haven't seen evidence for YOU means there is none. That IS egocentric.

Your "logic" is only one thing: screwed up. Get a brain.

You don't understand the issue it seems.

Tell me one thing: why does not really everyone have solar panels on their houses and we remove the costy power grid completely? This would have enormous benefits for the individual (but not for the power companies!). So why again doesn't they state "everyone should be independent from the power grid"? It's interests that prevent that being done.
Accept the fact that some things in this world are suppressed no matter what. The so called "scientific community" is like a religion these days. If you do something that doesn't fit into the view of the majority of the community then you will face hard times.

Was the fact that the earth is a sphere respected when the first scientists claimed that and even found true evidence for it? No. Some people even died telling it. It took 100(!) years before it was accepted and publicly acknowledged that in fact the earth is NOT flat.

So why again do you believe that some magazine / media outlet / etc would really report a discovery like this very openly? Do you even see the consequences of such a statement in such a paper?? Therefore cencoring is going on like in the times where the earth had to remain flat.

Like you believe that things like these can't be the researchers have to fight massive prejudices and biased thinking in the so called "scientific community" in order to get their work done at all. This is not utopia. We are living in a lobbyist world which is ruled by very rich people / companies. There is corruption / manipulation / control in order to keep it like that forever. A topic like aliens / UFOs could potentially destroy this. Therefore it is suppressed. And due to career thinking / ridicule factors very well planted by studies like "Project Blue Book" those who even dare to be interested in the subject go through hardest times imaginable.

You see?

1 all the way. I have no idea what is out there, none of us do. But the evidence at hand and a logical mind says there is something out there. Whether or not "they" have visited us in the past or present is obviously up for debate and I don't really know where I stand on the subject. But I absolutely believe in life outside of the Earth.

You know that you are in fact just that: a kid.

It's ridiculous that you think that it really bothers me
that you give anyone here a star.
You haven't even understood my comment.

It's the lack of thinking for yourself that bothers me.
And for that I can only give you my true pity.

Well, Mister Master Whatever.

What bothers me is your blunt arrogance.
You don't know a thing about me, still you feel it's appropriate to pretend you do.
What's more, you even seem to know the thing I'm supposed to know?
You know the limits of my understanding?

Well, I share one of the things I know: I really don't need your pity.
And I really don't give a damn about what might bother you, ok?

But, hey, the good news is: you can continue as long as you wish (or unless a moderator thinks the ratio between personal attacks and relevant contributions is too skewed).

It's the sum of things that makes up the evidence. It's connecting the dots that makes it. Just looking at the separate parts of a car won't make it drive. So where is your point really?
If you like to have true alien artifacts (=touchable evidence) look at Dr. Leirs work, e.g. He removes implants from abductees. The analysis of these implants indicates extraterrestrial origin of an artificial material. Or look at the evidence of the "Star Child" skull. This has been proven (several DNA tests) to be half extraterretrial. You just don't know these facts. And what's about the UFO landing sites and the analysis results of the soil? Do you know any of this at all?

You say that's hearsay? Well with you reasoning most biased naysayers do argument. Stated above you see that there is more than just witness testimonies. Also note that many of the witnesses are former high ranking military personel. Note that there are many radar recordings available of UFOs which clearly indicate that UFOs are under intelligent control and do things we can't do - until this very day. Note that crop circles are NOT all made by man (many are) and if you think so you just ignored the fact that I have also listed Nancy Talbot. She discovered many startling things about crop circles which clearly indicate that it cannot be made by some people with ropes and wood. Get the facts. Do your homework right before opposing something you don't understand.

Saying that the press conferences are someone's agenda is just insane. That is a conspiracy in itself. And this has absolutely NO foundation whatsoever. Looking at the money involved: The witnesses do not get much if any money for that. And the cases are real. You can look up each end every one of them. But you just don't do that.
Edit to add: What you are stating is even TOTALLY incorrect as the conferences I am listing there are NPC conferences. Do you even know what that is??

I have seen UFOs myself on some occasions - so no hearsaying at all. I've done enough "homework" to know what I am talking about. I do not understand why people like you oppose this topic in such a way that one might think you are fighting an opponent. Are you so afraid of the idea that we are being vistied by extraterrestrial beings? Well, get used to it. You won't change reality.

If one can't connect the dots then I can't help.
How much more clues and facts does it take to realize that this is NOT just hearsay? There has been a lot of research. Are you really so ignorant?

You guys are biased and full of prejudices. You are anal. You are talking biased BS. Do your homework right then we can talk again.
edit on 6-4-2011 by mrMasterJoe because: (no reason given)

I see you got two whole stars for attacking me and calling me ignorant. Thank you for that.

For your information, I believe I saw the Shiloh ufo. The problem there is, it was right next to Scott AFB. Just because you see something you cannot explain does not mean that it is alien.

Or look at the evidence of the "Star Child" skull. This has been proven (several DNA tests) to be half extraterretrial.

Can you please show me this report?

What you are stating is even TOTALLY incorrect as the conferences I am listing there are NPC conferences. Do you even know what that is??

What, like this one from 2007?

Washington, DC - November 13th, 2007
This is a preliminary report, first in a series, on yesterday's event in Washington, DC at the National Press Club (NPC), organized by producer James Fox ("Out of the Blue") and Leslie Kean, reporter (who recently won a major FOIA lawsuit against NASA to release the 1965 Kecksberg UFO related documents) and moderated by former Arizona Governor, Fife Symington. The NPC press conference presented the personal testimonies of major military and civilian pilots and intelligence figures from around the world on the subject of official foreign investigations of UFOs.

www.ufodigest.com...

Looks like investigations to me. I have not looked up anything that says we are visited and abducted by aliens. I see investigations into alleged incidents.

You guys are biased and full of prejudices. You are anal. You are talking biased BS. Do your homework right then we can talk again
.

Again thank you for attacking me on my opinion on this matter. The whole biased BS thing works both ways my friend. Maybe you are attacking me because I refuse to "connect loosely connected dots." I do believe there are ufo's. The problem is I have not seen any evidence supporting aliens piloting these aircraft. Just because you jump on the alien bandwagon does not make it true, or you correct. You need to do some unbiased homework of your own there sport.

Have a nice day.
