Once Upon A Time,

There was a big powerful man named Mr Monsanto - he was very forward thinking and knew the peasants weren't very educated, this was many years ago and he wanted to know how to make a lot of money.

All the local people were curing themselves of various illnesses and he couldn't understand it because these people didn't have University Degrees like he and his friends had, yet they were managing to cure illnesses that they themselves were unable to cure at that time.

He did some investigations and found that the local Witches were mixing concoctions from plants and herbs they found in the woods.

Determined to make some money out of this he instructed his Scientific friends to investigate what it was about these plants that held so many cures and how to make them into pills that he and his friends could claim held miraculous cures without relying on a whitch or going tramping though the woods at all hours.

But he thought - if he cured everyone well that's like the end of a toilet roll there would be no more business so he told his Scientist Friends to add some chemicals that would inflict side effects and other illnesses on the peasants ensuring that they would need more and more pills for more and more illnesses thereby ensuring his future profits.

Many Years passed and Mr Monsanto became very rich having ownership of the various patents on all these new pills that the peasants and their masters found very convenient. However, as time passed by his patents were due to expire and he had been informed by Mr Joe Bloggs, the whistle blower, that the peasants were starting to realise that the pills were giving them other illnesses and some very nasty side effects and were becoming more and more expensive. Hence they had started returning to the old ways and using traditional herbs and native plants again which hadn't been contaminated with chemicals

Bearing in mind that many patents were soon to expire Mr Monsanto and his friends who had grown very rich - didn't want to lose this power and came up with another clever idea - I know, said Mr Monsanto, we'll take control of all these natural herbs and plants so that the peasants have to buy them from us.

We will have a word with that nice Mr Obama who owes us so much and introduce the legislation required and we're back in business. But just to keep the peasants happy we will allow them to purchase their herbs and plants the way they usually do but we will dictate the ones they can have and the dose they can take, that way they won't be cured and will have to rely on us.

He was once again a very happy man and promoted Mr Joe Blogs to Health Minister for his good whistleblowing and paid his Scientists a good Bonus and they all lived happily ever after.

The End.

The Public Patent Foundation have filed a Law Suit on behalf of 27,000 People

“As Justice Story wrote in 1817, to be patentable, an invention must not be ‘injurious to the well being, good policy, or sound morals of society,’” notes the complaint in its opening paragraphs.

The suit points to studies citing harm caused by Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide, including human placental damage, lymphoma, myeloma, animal miscarriages, and other impacts on human health.
Plaintiffs condemn Monsanto for prohibiting independent research on its transgenic seeds and for its successful lobby efforts to ban GM food labeling. Many raise the specter of allergic reaction to GM foods, proof of which is hidden by lack of labeling. GMO label laws, currently pending in 14 states, would partially remedy this situation. Monsanto is easily in the top 5 for shadiest %^&ing company ever. The fact that they spray round-up on peoples crops to test whether or not they are using roundup ready seeds is absolutely despicable. Whats crazier is that people still think that the government is here to help protect them and not corporate interests.

“A new invention to poison people … is not a patentable invention.” Lowell v. Lewis, 1817

Would have thought that was obvious but it seems our justice system isn't so sure..
Let's hope these 27000 come out of this smelling like homegrown roses..

Glad to see someone has gotten it together...at least 27,000 souls.
Monsanto is a useless, capitalistic, greedy corporation...whose practices have infected and damaged
too many innocents.

Monsanto does have a lot of money, so in order for them to pay , the judicial system will need to "hit" them
where it would really hurt. Otherwise, they will pay the fines they are ordered to pay and be
right back out there creating the same ol' same ol' with no remorse, afterthoughts, or injury...only figuring
out new ways to make more money!

If the people win I wish the judge would order Monsanto Executives to eat, for 1 whole year, every crop that their GM seeds grow...This would finish them off pretty quickly....and change the men to women and the women to men....

EPA to raise limits for radiation exposure while Canada turns off it's fallout detectors.

" (NaturalNews) The mass radioactive contamination of our planet is now under way thanks to the astonishing actions taking place at the Fukushima nuclear facility in Japan. As of last night, TEPCO announced it is releasing 10,000 tons of radioactive water directly into the Pacific Ocean. That 2.4 million gallons of planetary poison being dumped directly into the ocean.

This water is being released because they have run out of places to keep it on land. It's too deadly to transport anywhere else, and all the storage pools around Fukushima are already overflowing. So they're dumping it into the ocean, then calling it "safe" because they claim the ocean will "disperse" all the radiation and make it harmless.

But because there's more radioactive water being produced every day at Fukushima, this process of releasing radioactive water into the ocean could theoretically continue for years,

one can dream, but the only real way to get rid of Frankenseeds in their current form is an undeniable catastrophy - and the potential has always existed.
