If you want to learn tarot I would be happy to help you. I will assist any one in learning if they would like. I will try to design a simple tarot
training course and we can expand on it later.
1. Decide if you want to have upside down cards. Does an upside down card assist you? I Don't let my cards ever sit upside down in a reading.
2. Pick a deck. I have one deck I do readings with and one I do magick with. I like the Thoth deck; but I would go online and find a deck that has
pictures you like. They have Basset Hound Decks, Cat Decks, Devil Decks, and all sorts of other really pretty decks. Find pictures that "speak" to
you.
3. Read the instruction manual. Every good deck comes with a book that explains the decks nuances. Try to read the book cover to cover and spend some
time gazing at each card. Try to "find" something in each card. What ever catches your eyes.
4. Do readings. Even if you aren't good at it yet or you have to use your little booklet. Find people and offer them free readings. Carry your cards
with you. I started in High School and used to spend lunch doing readings for people. Do as many readings as you can and if you mess up early on
it'll be ok. Just persevere.
5. Don't give up. Also; feel free to explore other magic paths. Try dice, cast chicken bones after some KFC, or learn to read some tea leaves for a
bit if you want to. I did dice for a bit and also tried automatic writing. I always returned to tarot.
If you need more dynamic and "real" training in the magic arts I can offer that too. I am NOT wiccan and I do NOT practice the three fold rule. So
if you want to learn how to perform "black" magic I can do THAT too. Tarot is VERY important if you decide you want to learn how to effect change.
It always helps to know what will change when you summon something up.
