I'm not a big fan of Venus Project - I call it Eutopean idealism, which is un obtainible illusion.
through out history people have been creating these Eutopian Words of a demigod. humans
are not creators as people think, we are copiers and better way people. we basically, build
on others ideas. Venus Project does not fit into better ideas, but maybe into alternative ideas.
that sound great but the problems are ignored and the glory is hyped. man is not perfect so
therefore there cant be a perfect system from man. only god can do that. IMHO.

What if man remembers the pattern from the part of god that is within him. Man can govern with the light of god leading the way. I agree they do not have all the answers...but nobody does. God may work a small piece through many of us now.....we are all part of god and to imply the venus project as ungodly before it has even begun is very judgemental....and we cannot/should not judge. Everything is gods work, even the venus project...careful withyour judgemental statements. Understand your statements are kind of imply a negative opinion...

Why do you not try to figure out some potential solutions in your life, and then submit them to the Venus group for concideration. Just pointing out others shortcomings will not help to figure out any of the solutions...

Be part of the solution, not the problem....

I don't think you've done much reading up on The Venus Project. They've never claimed their ideas were perfect, it's just a better system than what we have now. This is right from The Venus Project's FAQ.

Is The Venus Project a Utopian society?

The Venus Project is not a Utopian concept. We do not believe in the erroneous notion of a utopian society. There is no such thing. Societies are always in a state of transition. We propose an alternative direction, which addresses the causes of many of our problems. There are no final frontiers for human and technological achievement - it will always undergo change. Even if we can design a society having all of the modifications to improve the lives of people and protect the environment we will still be at the beginning of the next phase. We are always in transition and learning new things.

The survival of any social system ultimately depends upon its ability to allow for appropriate change to improve society as a whole. The patterns we choose determine whether or not there is intelligent life on earth. In closing, to achieve this new social design, it will require much voluntary, unselfish participation for its realization. The future does not depend solely on The Venus Project. We only propose a direction. Our future depends on the decisions we make today.

I practice what I preach - I live within my means. I from the school of been around the block. and any system
you oblligate yourself to you become a servant of that system. you accept that system. the problem is I'm a
systems engineer. and the Venus resource based system will fail due to greed. and the dark side of man will
destroy it. abundance - is quickly consumed creating more demand until system failure. its a self destruct code build into life itself.
