Am i the ONLY ONE that wants America to STOP with all of its INFOMERCIALS.

Hi all,
Its me ranting again.
But i am sick to death that every night on Australian tv i am forced to turn off my tv as you Americans had made another one of those pathetic 30min info commercials, starring some star,stranger and or idiot trying to sell a crap product to me. Every night there is some airhead trying to sell me a vacuum cleaner or a steam mop or some of that Shearcover crap or MR T is trying to sell me a bloody flavour wave or whatever the crap piece of machinery is called, or I get to see fat people with the latest slimming device, or some pimpled covered freak trying to sell me proactive.( And dont dare start me on that justin beiber )
Ive had enough of your commercials. Ive had enough of your bloody Zumba, Ive had enough of the magic sweeper.
Ive had enough, enough, enough.

Am i the only one that feels this way? Or are there more like me?
Please vent your anger towards this thread if you hate infomercials just as much as me.
Release that anger. Tell me the ads you hate and the reasons you hate them.
Pretend i am the man that made that ad that you hate.

Haha yeah usually once it is 2am you have to switch it over to that 24hours ABC show lol, although i gotta admit i've seen some good shows on at that time like the 'big idea's' show so its not all bad

I like the abc too.
Watching it now as a matter of fact. Some british crime show.

Thats the main reason i download documentaries, there is hardly anything ever on aussie tv. I just got a nice 150gig file downloaded so that should keep me busy for a few months LOL.

The only informercial i will watch is this one coz it cracks me up everytime. fast forward to .54 seconds, its 2seconds of goodness right there haha.

Do yourself a favour and switch off the tv altogether. I have been there and use to just be a zombie living in front of it, now I have found a lot more to life after getting totally feed up and disillusioned with it after uncovering its lies. Not to mention all the garbage that is on it.

Dont worry, the tv is off most of the time, as when i do seem to watch it , it seems my life is lacking as i dont have the latest gadget, or im not as toned as i should be
But before i do turn my tv off for good, i will wait till the ad that a hate the most comes on and i will destroy my tv as i try to force my foot down MR T's throat

It will be one dead tv, but it will be one happy meathed

hey let me ask you do the folks in your informercials have British or American Accents? Here in the US for whatever reason it's always British and I think sometimes Australian...not sure why it does not make the crap any better...

Now that is a scary question, as here is my answer, they usually have American or British accents.
If find that very odd. As now to me it seems that the ad executives are trying another way to manipulate us into buying CRAP.
And agreed, it dosent matter how they try to package a poo, its still a poo in a package they are trying to sell.
