I cant get onto chat. I click chat, then agree, and then it's just a blank screen

Didn't you know they don't allow armed pandas in chat..

I have the exact same problem. All I get is a grey window after agreement. Even after refreshing numerous times.

I left the grey screen up for a while and it eventually went in..

If on Firefox, that might be the issue. If on a PC try using IE, Chrome or Safari. On a Mac both Safari and Chrome work well usually. Also check that both you Flash and Java are up to date as the chat client uses both.

Check to see if you can use the chat voyuer client. As there may be something odd going on. If you are trying to get in using either a Droid device or a iPad or iPod, there is no current fix for that due to mobile devices not properly being able to use Flash or Java while running other apps such as a browser.
