Thousands of Islamists Return to Egypt: What's Next?

Thousands of Islamic leaders are headed back to Egypt after learning their names were removed from a "wanted" list developed by Egyptian security forces.

The Egyptian newspaper Al Masry Al Youmis reported that Ibrahim Ali estimated 3,000 members of Jama'a al-Islamiya and other Egyptian Islamic jihad groups are set to return to Egypt in the next few days.

Ali is an Egyptian lawyer who has worked with several Islamist groups.

This does not sound like very good news at all. Mubarak may have been an evil dictator but at least he was able to keep the radical Islamists locked out of his country and kept the people from falling into the trap of Sharia Law and the lunatic 12'ers.

Are you able to keep radical Christians from returning to the US?
Or the most radical Jews from returning to Israel?
So what about a few thousand persecuted religous nuts in a country of 80 000 000?

Come on...

Already the name "islamist" sounds like a racist appellation to me.

What about Christianist? Or Hinduist?

People are dumb.

These uprisings are only removing pro-western dictators to replace them with Islamic republics.

Thats all Israel needs.

This is clearly preparation for a future attack.

Islamist is used in reference to Islamo-fascism. Its to distinguish ordinary religious Islam from political Islam. Islamism,like Nazism is a radical, aggressive, no tolerance movement.

makes sense,I have often wondered if the uprising are being enginered to set up like minded rulers with a common goal towards Israel, it does fit the end time prophecy timeline

You dont even have to be a bible believer to see where this will be going.

Egypt has made known that they have no intention of maintaining the Peace treaty between them and Israel - even though the sinai peninsula was given to them in exchange for a "promise of peace". Just shows how worthless promises are. Also:

• The Islamic Brotherhood was a major player behind the uprising in Egypt.
  
  
• The rebels in Libya have ties to Al Qaida.
  
  
• last, but certainly not least, a major campaign has been waged for palestinians to launch a 3rd intifada against Israel.
  
  When this happens, and when Israel responds with military force, there will be trouble coming from Egypt.

your preachin to the choir here( southern slang) your right it is very easy to see, and I have read of all that you speak of above, but there is also a prophecy that deals with the very statement that came from Ahmadinejad lips towards Israel a few months ago and includes a list of countries that form an alliance against Israel, and it also appears as you say above , that Israel will in fact be the intial attacker.

There are no Islamists in Egypt and soon Egypt will be a shining example of liberty in the Middle East.
Also, the Muslim Brotherhood is "secular".
