I know that there have been a lot of posts on this topic. This noise is apparently being heard all over the world. It wasn't a train because it didn't have the distinct sound that a train makes on the tracks. This was just a solid Low, bassy noise. I sat and listened to it after letting my dog outside and it never went away. It just kept on going. I've seen posts about this saying that it is a mother ship. Could be??? But, I am trying to find any other possibilitys and ruling them out before I jump to that conclusion. Feel free to post anything you think it could be. Start some debates about it.

Sorry, for some reason ATS moved this to the Conspiracy Theories Section and it's supposed to be in the UFO section.

Well , in order to make any suggestions, I would need to know how long the sound lasted, in which direction you think its source lies from your position, your location, and the weather at the time.
Thanks.

There are approx. 925 million starving people in the world right now.

That's a lot of growling stomachs...

www.worldhunger.org...

Just a thought.

Its serious, and I know it is, and I feel bad for the starving persons on the planet... but the very idea of the rumbling of millions of tummies being the cause of this noise STILL made me laugh

Ok, Ohio... thats how many square miles? Are you in the North of Ohio, the south, the east the west, or any variation thereof?
A little more info would be good, because that will mean I can make better suggestions.

Well , just at the moment I cannot locate any potential source for the sound. Perhaps time and further data will shed some light on it. There arent any names of towns that I have previously associated with heavy bass producing experiments or industry to the immediate (within a few hundred miles) south of your position. Must be something new, or possibly geological. Was there any feeling of vibration apart from that which hit your ears?

Very Small Vibration. You could barely feel it, but it was there.

Doesn't the New Madrid Faultline or a branch off the fault run thru Ohio?
