I'm 20, will be 21 in June.

There's a user here who is 16 years old and is a very informed and intelligent person. And that's only the one who has revealed his age, I'm sure there are many others who are afraid of being looked down upon because of their youth.

Age doesn't automatically grant people wisdom and knowledge. There are many people who are in his fifties or sixties and make pretty stupid decisions, some of which are in politics

Casandra I could not agree with you more! It always amazes me to see much older people make the same stupid mistakes I did when i was 15. . .and yes it blows my mind what some politicians do. And as for the 16 yr old, then yes maybe it might be best he keeps his age hidden.

@ riseagainst lets fight this fight together

Over 45 physically, in my head, about 28.

Age for most, doesn't equal maturity or intelligence. If someone is really stupid when they're young, they'll probably turn into a stupid old person

Likewise with intelligence and common sense. Unfortunately, sense isn't all that common these days.

There are many very intelligent posts from people under 25 on these boards. Some of the most intelligent posts that I've seen are from young people.

DOADOA is actually about 904 years old. Maybe older.
I say this after reading his posts on these boards for the last couple of years.
He's from the dark side. His kind are ageless.

I'll give you a clue.
As you can tell from my signature, I'm old enough to remember the comedian Tony Hancock.

I am 57 Earth years, my last BD. Older and wiser, and yet commit some of the same mistakes as I did when young. I am still learning how to be a human being. Youth means nothing to me, I see vast intelligence and wisdom in all age groups across the board. They say with age comes wisdom, but one has to pursue knowledge to get wisdom, so one can get old and have none.

I've always thought the average member age would be about 37 with most falling into the 25 - 50 bracket

I'm 22

So far the average age in this thread is 32!

Also to the younger kids here pay no mind to the haters. I noticed a lot of the older people/posters here like to knock they young ones, Yet they forget that they once were not as smart as they are/think they are now and also that there is more by far seasoned posters/elders here that are just as ignorant if not more so than the ones they ridicule for bringing this site down.

You guys/ladies are the future so educate yourselves and don't let someone who thinks they are smarter than you keep you down.

Remember a truly intelligent person will never tell you how smart they think you or anyone else is.

That is all

Seems like I'm one of the older ones at 44 years.

I believe that ageis not respective of intelligence, in fact I know a number of teenagers and early 20's that share with me all manner of useful information - I'm always glad to learn new things, and it gives them a sense of self respect to know that some of us oldies do appreciate their time and knowledge.

Might I ask what your assumption is in regards to my age, DOADOA?

To the OP

Most have confused me with someone whom is much older, most of the time, double or even triple my actual age, I find it interesting that is the character I portray in the eyes of those who read my posts.

My specific age shall be hidden for I see no actual reason for its revelation. I am in the age category of 16-21.
