Hello ATSer's

Last year Webbot made the prediction that over one billion people would be killed by "ill winds". The prediction was made for around the end of 2010 and the "ill winds" were believed to be either, to do with the BP oil disaster or nuclear war.

Now we all know that a nuclear war didn't break out and it doesn't seem that the Gulf spill has killed one person let alone a billion. So what could cause these "ill winds", well thanks to some of ATS's finest we might now know what.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/63b6dae3c906.png[/atsimg]

This is a still from the website IRSN. It show how far the radiation has travelled since and from the fukushima nuclear disaster. Now I know the levels are low but if the situation at the Fukushima plant get worse then the levels will rise, possible to harmful levels.

Is it possible that Webbot got the date wrong but the event right?

Is it possible the the radiation from Japans nuclear disaster is the fabled "ill winds"?

I would like the help of the ATS community to answer that one.

^^I know the above web sites don't hold much creditbility, I am only using them as an example of the prediction.^^

I'll just get this in before the debunkers come along. Clif High himself said that the web bot is twice as good as chance. So it is not a 100% accurate prediction.

Moreover, like all predictions they are of there time. Meaning they are subject to change depending on the actions of the worlds population.

I know that all prediction come out after the fact.

I just thought i'd bring it up because I believe that the "ill winds" part of the prediction holds some meaning with what going on at Fukushima.

I know there are a lot of people out there that believe in it, but I just can't wrap my head around our society seriously looking to a BOT for answers to life, the universe and everything.

The answer was solved before Webbot anyway.

Not trying to discredit anything...just sayin

Haha your right it does but the picture is just a still from the video on the website, so the dragon doesn't stick around for long.

I was thinking about this too; ill winds. On top of webbot, remember that time traveler guy, tittor, who came from a future parallel universe that was 2% different from ours. He said that in the future we would live in an irradiated planet, a civil war in america for a few years, massive deaths... I feel like I am seeing it, but I also have faith that a universe that can create such dark energy can also shine light, and we will begin to see that, just stay positive, keep your spirit open to positive energy.

Well sadly the Gulf Oil Leak has in fact killed some people. There are still many people sick now. There is a man who lives across the street from me who is very sick and he used to work offshore before working the clean up for BP. So saying that the oil leak has not killed a single person is quite frankly false.

Secondly, as far as Webbot.. you open your own post by saying that these "ill winds" were supposed to claim a billion people by the end of 2010. Now I do not mean to alarm you, but it is now April of 2011 and a billion people have not died. So does that not make the prediction false?

ah.. and thats when something bigger comes into play to catch my attention and to pay attention. I probably would have walked away from this information and not really keep it in the back of my mind.. but now I have some intrigue.

This Fukushima disaster is really on an epic scale. There is more then enough nuclear waste and material on that site to fully envelop the world with radiation. The spread map makes that very evident.

As for over a billion dead, I really hope not. Just seems unlikely but then I don't know how much toxic radiation left that site and has entered the atmosphere, oceans and food supply...

It has been talked about as an Apocalyptic event by German and European energy commissioners.

What ever the long-term effect is... people are going to die from this. No hiding that fact. the question is the number of people that will die? More then the 1 million in Chernobyl?

For me the real important part of the original post is the reference to the map showing radioactive dispersion globally AS IT IS NOW. Don't be lulled into a false sense of security because the fall out is weak currently - I think the OP knows what I mean as he acknowledges that this reflects the current situation. If things deteriorate at Fukushima however - you're staring at a map which shows just how quickly and easily radioactivity disperses across the globe. That's actually pretty damned worrying.

can we just stop going back to the webbot predictions...let stop trying to justify its function it has been wrong too many times and like most bad predictions eventually they come true..just give them long enough...

When I said no ones died from the spill I meant on the grand scheme of things, there hasn't been any official reports saying that people have died directly due to the gulf oil spill, has there?

I hope not too but if the radiation got into the food supply we could see a famine on an epic scale, which could I believe kill well over a billion people. I don't want to sound like a fear monger, sadly its the truth.

It has been talked about as an Apocalyptic event by German and European energy commissioners.

This really has me worried:

Europe’s energy Commissioner Guenther Oettinger on Tuesday dubbed Japan’s nuclear disaster an “apocalypse,” saying Tokyo had almost lost control of events at the Fukushima power plant

I don`t need a webbot to tell me that the nuclear disaster in Japan could kill millions, or even in excess of a billion. I just engage my brain and use common sense to envisage the worst case scenario. However, it is just that, a WORST CASE scenario, and I am still hopeful that we can somehow avoid it.
The problem I have is that the longer the radiation is emitted, the more realistic the chance of such devasatation becomes. Concern for humanity is quite rightly being expressed, but I don`t think that the predictions of a webbot need to be taken into account here.
The webbot simply analyses what people are entering into search engines and so on, using these statistics to predict possible outcomes. In the wake of this disaster it would not surpirise me in the least to see webbot predict mass deaths from nuclear fallout, as the topic is going to be a hot one on the web. Using vague terms such as ill winds and so on fails to convince me. If you showed me a prediction prior to March 11th from the same webbot that said "Japan will be hit by a tsunami and due to Fukishima Nuke Plant being in meltdown billions would die" I`d probably be mighty impressed. The fact is, the link between the webbots predictions and events that have happened have been tenuous at best. I could give you as much of an insight into the future by looking at world events and drawing my own conclusions. Also, if I had an army of devoted followers, they would tie my past predictions to current events, much in the same way that people tie in fukishima with the webbot predictions. It doesn`t make it any more true because people make that tenuous link and attempt to get the more gullible element to jump on the bandwagon.

Now this is a bit of a catch 22 scenario. You will not find any official cause of death that says, "Gulf oil leak" and let us be accurate. A "spill" is a specific amount, such as a full tanker. What happened in the gulf was a leak. It was free flowing oil, straight from the ground. It was not a "spill" it was a leak. In any event, you will not find the cause of death as Gulf Oil Leak, the doctors down here are idiots. If I were to ever suffer any type of serious injury, I would refuse to be treated at a hospital in Louisiana.... they better send me to Houston or some place up North. The people who are sick here after working the clean up for BP are being told a variety of things, but in the end they are saying "we don't know". They have no clue what is wrong with people here, but they are sick, every single worker I know who has worked the clean up is sick.

As far as bewing wrong about the date, I do not mean to be offensive, but is that not what everyone says when they make a prediction? If I were to say today that a tornado would rip through Wichita Kansas on May 17, 2011 and it did not happen on that date, but did happen in June, I could easily say "I got the date wrong" but the fact of the matter is, Wichita Kansas is in the heart of Tornado alley. A Tornado would happen there eventually anyway. When you make a prediction and attach a date to it, if it does not happen on that date, it is wrong. End of story. However, since Wichita is in the heart of tornado alley, the law of averages is in my favor, it will happen eventually. So what did I really predict?

Sorry for using the wrong terminology, I did not mean to demean the the event or anyone effected by it. I simple used the the word "spill" as that is how it has been reported by most.

The people who are sick here after working the clean up for BP are being told a variety of things, but in the end they are saying "we don't know". They have no clue what is wrong with people here, but they are sick, every single worker I know who has worked the clean up is sick.

I am sorry to hear this and if you can provide some links I would be happy to be enlightened and set right but seeing as were being pedantic, you have only stated that they are sick not that they have died. I stated that no one has died in my OP and you haven't corrected me on that.

Please note that I did not make the prediction, it was made by webbot last year and I know the date is wrong. I just thought i'd bring to light that the "ill winds" are connectable to the Fukushima disaster. Also I don't think your Tornado analogy can be used in the same way to describe the death of over one billion people, as tornados happen all the time, a "mega death" does not.

well if a billion people who are being iradiated now and even infants in the womb who will get the milk and grain from radiated crops eventually die of cancer related to that, it would still be true it would have claimed them all those exposed from now to the end of the year.
