I'm perfectly good at analyzing allegory, allusions, and so on. I scored a 36 on my English ACT portion, and I think it was a 34 on the written. My mental faculties are not lacking. Furthermore, as a chick, I'm not that uncomfortable with female sexuality, what with the fact that I'm not a virgin or a prude... The sex bits weren't what freaked me out about this song, even remotely.

People have always lived dreary lives. As long as there is a lower class, there will always be human misery on this planet. The problem as I see it is that what are typically considered Major Societal Problems, like rampant unprotected sex and alcoholism, treating other people as throw-away items, and so on, are painted as the solution to what ails. It's rampant in popular music, and that's something you can only deny if you don't actually have to listen to pop 4-8 hours a day.

This particular song goes a tad bit beyond that, is what I'm saying. The imagery in the lyrics alone paints a fairly creepy frigging picture. Infection, victimization, poisoning, primarily what makes my skin crawl. In the video, there were scenes of a scorched and destroyed earth, with quick cuts of animals either violently f***ing another species or killing it. (What has that got to do with female sexuality?) Whereas, previous pop stars had been fairly content to push the "get drunk and screw a stranger, because your life is already cheap" line.

It could be the fact you keep bringing up sex and alcohol despite them not being in the song, outside a woman expressing desire, which of course, should be feared.

Seriously, if there's Nephilim out there then there's other races too. There's not just us and one other race hogging the whole universe. And not everything out there is evil. in the opening scene there is a lot of signs/symbols on the ground. the one that stands out is the number 8.

so we have thats obvioulsy the 8th month, August.

the other dates we are given is 2030 and 2011. 2030 - 2011 = 19.

So thats it. On the 19th of August the aliens arrive or the world ends or whatever. These cryptic clues are getting too easy.
