You do realize that every decade people have been pretty much saying the same thing and while we are going through hard times, it isn't anything that hasn't happened before.

I can't think of one thing that is happening now that something similar hasn't happened before, if you can let me know.

Ok name another decade when police required and were armed with military hardware and armoured vehicles ? Society has changed alot and so has the world friend .

Martial law is a moot point when we are already under Continuity of Government protocols.
That's why Congress or elections don't and won;'t matter.

Name another decade when criminals were armed with military hardware. I expect our police to be better armed then the common thug on the street and so should you.

With each decade the weapons the criminals use get better and better and every decade the police have to catch up. Does the Tommy Gun come to mind?

Who makes a post to point out a spelling mistake ? And especially in such an uncouth way. Why do you feel the need to implement a barb of criticism publicly when a quick u2u suggesting an edit would of been the proper thing to do if you wanted to make an actual contribution to this community. First off the "fear is very real and prudent."
Both of my grandfathers worked hard for car manufacturing companies that supported their families well.Do to the union they were able to make a decent living.They had lived through the Depression and fought for the unions.For decent pay and benefits.
I have a Okay job I make 31,000 a year and I have 5 dependents.We all live in a house with my parents who are on a fix income.
I needed a emergency surgery 2 months ago....$46,000 dollars is the hospital bill.My job doesn't offer insurance.Medicaid was out for that time because I make too much money.2 of my dependents are 19 .1 can't find a job.One works part-time 20hours a week at a Chinese restaurant and they have a child...

My son would have gotten a job at the factories that my grandfathers worked right out of high school...But those factories are gone....
There is this factory that is on strike right now. in my town...The day the men left the job to pick-up a sign the factory put a add in the paper looking for permanent people to replace the old ones...Do you think no one crossed the picket-line?They now have a factory with NEW employees...Because there is no jobs out there and people want to work ....People need to work....
