best spot would be a mountainous area, but anywhere away from city lights and population is ideal

im from MA, i have a house on cape cod that i go to durning the summer and man going out on the beach at around 1-2 am is absolutely beautiful, really makes you think how small you really are....

Nevada, Arizona, Wyoming, southern Utah, and New Mexico have fabulous skies right on public roadways. Let me present the Geminid meteor shower under the Arizona night sky.

That's cool and thanks for that information, because my wife and I just got two free round trip air tickets to any continental US spot, and we have a free harbor at every extreme US spot we can fly to, San Diego, Seattle, Ft. Lauderdale, and now you just maybe convinced us to go to my aunt's cottage on Nantucket Is.
