Hi All,

I have noticed some people asking lately.. What happened to Assange?

Well he made a webcam appearance on ABC Australia's television show Q&A and while the Prime Minister was on the show discussing a variety of topics, Assange thought he would tell her just how he feels

Ever noticed how when Julia cant answer a question straight she attempts a joke - which only she laughs at?
SO lame

Of COUSRE Aus gave US info. We always always kiss up to the US because if we don't do as they demand the US just cuts of our exports.

I left the US because of bad politics but coming home to Aus it feels like its all just the same BS

i like how she couldn't give a answer to assange's question! why can't people see the governments are all connected in a very tight way. of coarse her and her cabinet leak information to the states about all there citizens. i hope people stand up for assange, i can see in the near future he will be put to death, the states always get what they want, and if they want someone dead there gonna do it!

I know, and her laugh...
how annoying!!

I've noticed that, always starts with a joke.

I like watchinh the people in the audience, while she was talking you could see people rolling their eyes lol, and the tweets at the bottom are funny. After Assange was on, one of the updates was '' best TV moment ever'' it might not have been the best but still kinda funny.

Yeah its pretty obvious that our AFP and intelligence agencies share information with their overseas counterparts.

Here are a couple small snippets from the 2010 ASIO report to parliament;

In 2009–10, T4 Protective Security increased its engagement with foreign government
security agencies to enhance information-sharing. This allowed overseas security
practices to inform T4’s advice in the context of the Australian security environment. It
also enabled T4 to provide advice that met and exceeded international standards and
continued to enable ASIO to lead government security practices.

The ASIO report emphasises the need for interagency cooperation and operational coordination, involving both information and capability sharing.

They just wont admit to what it is they share exactly.

There is also this directly from the FAQ on the ASIO (Australian Secret Intelligence Organisation) site-

In accordance with the ASIO Act, ASIO may cooperate with the agencies of other countries in order to carry out its functions. In this context, and with the approval of the Attorney-General, ASIO may communicate with the security and intelligence authorities of a range of countries. Developments in the regional and global security environment have implications for Australia's national security, so these international relationships form an important part in ASIO's counter-terrorism efforts.
