Wow That Was Fast! Libyan Rebels Have Already Established A New Central Bank Of Libya

beforeitsnews.co m

The rebels in Libya are in the middle of a life or death civil war and Moammar Gadhafi is still in power and yet somehow the Libyan rebels have had enough time to establish a new Central Bank of Libya and form a new national oil company. Perhaps when this conflict is over those rebels can become time management consultants. They sure do get a lot done. What a skilled bunch of rebels - they can fight a war during the day and draw up a new central bank and a new national oil company at night without any outside help whatsoever.

Umm alarm bells anyone?

This has the traits of foreign imperialism all over it and is something my mate and I have been following and I suggested to him recently that this would eventually happen however, before Gaddafi is even dead? I would like to know who the recognised government is, because if it is not 'the rebels' then how can such an institution be installed?

A national oil company- the exact methods that were used in South America to rob the locals of their natural resources and exploit them.

I hope they realise what is happening in regards to their 'freedom'.

Given that htey have a lot of oil, and a lot of defectors from MG's government, they probably saw the need to do this fairly early on.

I'm sure they would ahve had plenty of outside help - everyone is keen for Libyan oil to get flowing again.

Freeze their banks, check. Embargo them from selling oil, check. Rebels start their own bank, and start selling oil that doesn't even belong to them, checkmate. Yep, this has been started, fueled and helped by at least one letter agency, no doubt in my mind. Are people really so blind they think some ragtag rebels could be doing this?

This does not suprise me at all in fact it is necessary to establish them as thier own entity make things legal. Whats funny is that it seems they will be funded by Gadhafi's frozen billions. This will be needed to get them selling oil, and will enable them to fund thier rebel army, so they can arm themselves. This is needed as well because nobody wants to get blamed down the road see?

I also would not be suprised if the arms they eventually purchase will be the ones recently siezed while in transit from Iran, so in the future this is where they will be tied to. There so close lil bit more then just coincidence, smells like a well thought out plan of action.

Wow.

Libyan rebel leader spent much of past 20 years in suburban Virginia

WASHINGTON - The new leader of Libya's opposition military spent the past two decades in suburban Virginia but felt compelled — even in his late-60s — to return to the battlefield in his homeland, according to people who know him.

Khalifa Hifter was once a top military officer for Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi, but after a disastrous military adventure in Chad in the late 1980s, Hifter switched to the anti-Gadhafi opposition. In the early 1990s, he moved to suburban Virginia, where he established a life but maintained ties to anti-Gadhafi groups.

Late last week, Hifter was appointed to lead the rebel army, which has been in chaos for weeks. ...

[ "Appointed" by WHO? ]

Since coming to the United States in the early 1990s, Hifter lived in suburban Virginia outside Washington, D.C. Badr said he was unsure exactly what Hifter did to support himself, and that Hifter primarily focused on helping his large family.

How convenient for Washington.

By "suburban Virginia" they really mean "suburban Washington DC," or where tons of federal intelligence and security organizations have been dumped into the northernmost part of my state.

That deserves a thread of its own.

If a revolution took hold in America, do you think it would only be a bunch of "redneck sumbitchs", or would there be a variety of people from many backgrounds, experiences and education levels?

I'm not saying anything isnt possible, but the amazing leaps in logic around here without corraborating evidence is well...amazing.

I woud think if I were involved in a rebellion, war, or revolution that I would need currency. If I (we) had captured key areas like oil refineries, banks, etc, I would surely set one up ASAP to funnel money back to our organization so we could purchase weapons, supplies, etc...

It doesn't seem to me absolutely unlikely that it could be carried out by "ragtag" rebels, or the CIA for that much.

But I wouldn't start making assumptions without proof or evidence. But thats just me, I'm a fool for facts.

If one wants to speculate a bit, one might take a second glance at the name... Hifter... which written in older english writing would come across as Hister... This was a name discussed in Nostradomus' writings. Not saying it is of any significance.. just caught my eye.

Lol I immediately saw that and jokingly said to myself, what if this is the guy we should be worried about.

I don't necessarily believe either, but I thought it was comical nonetheless.

Right, he talked about "Hister" rolling across rivers in metal monstrosities or something along those lines. It was widely interpreted as referring to Hitler crossing the Rhine to invade France during WW2.

Try opening up a oil company or a bank in a STABLE society, and see how fast that goes. And we are to believe in an unstable country, they can do it this fast? Sounds like a stretch to me...

While I understand your basic premise, these guys aren't looking to start up the next walmart, texaco, or bank of america.

As I understand it, what most likely has happened is they have come to have control of a bank, or a refinery etc with the majority of assests intact.

I know if I was to walk into a virtually empty bank outside of equipment and money, it wouldn't be hard to get the ball rolling. The same goes for a refinery. If I were to capture a refinery with the majority of assets intact, considering the rebels most likely have expertise in working on one, it also wouldn't be a stretch for me to say they could get both literally flowing in a short amount of time.

They have captured regions with the majority of the infrastructure and assets intact, atleast per my understanding of the events.

I mean if I captured a micdonalds with a full freezer, would it be a surprise if we started making double cheeseburgers in a couple hours?

They are so decadent and off the chain its just in everybody's faces. Is it just me? The selfish part of me thinks well maybe gas will go down. The logical part says oil will go down gas will stay the same and oil companies will make trillions of $$$ again this year that wont be taxed. A business that its customers pay the tax on it to fund research on its industry. Hmmm. This is all absicm runaway train...lots of innocent Americans who are at the core pretty good people who allow this, ALL THIS, to go on because they think they are liberating the world. All while webare in slavery as well. We are taking free people and making them slaves just like us but think he reverse. Its nuts. ATS needs its own primetime news show, magazine, newspapers, something mainstream. This isn't cutting it fast enough. We are steady as she goes and TPTB are picking up the pace because they see us and can feel light creeping in their vampire lives and know if the don't sink their teeth in everybodies throats soon they are gonna get caught at the new dawn away from their caskets and us with stakes and mallots in our hands.

Riiiiight. No, I wouldn't count on it. I'd sooner believe they'd raise prices and then make record profits again, breaking their last record.

Pass me that stake will yuh podnah?
I think this is probably the case though. If they dont make their move soonest they stand to be up against an informed and pissed off populace with ropes.
Its all a matter of timing now....

It is absolute madness. As time passes, people are becoming more aware of deceit at the highest levels however, slowly. I agree, as human consciousness and perception is evolving we are forcing a hornet swarm in to a corner. I think the time may be drawing nigh to atleast one of their hands being shown. I think a large scale conflict may be on the horizon, WW3? Who knows...

Before all this Italy was the biggest purchaser of Libya's oil, and hten Germany. About 70% of it went to Europe in general IIRC.

I imagine they'd be quite keen to keep getting it.
