So by what your writing there is
some one who was going to kill him wrote it
and shoved it in ricky's pocket probably 3 days before he died?
Might want to read what the FBI said
The killer did not write the notes
The victim did, his family admitted that he used to write in code
since he was a kid

oook,

because you used to write like this when you were younger so they won't even think
of looking for me HAHA now write]
nope doesn't work
FBI said note's probably (most likely on some sites) written
three days before Ricky died. (not an hour)
and it is not solved, that is why they asked for public help.
There are many different meanings out there right now
Drug buyer list
directions
Number papers (gambling)
rants about AIDS

Ricky McCormick, 41, of St. Louis was found June 30, 1999, near a cornfield off Highway 367 near West Alton in St. Charles County.
The FBI believes he was murdered but the St. Charles County sheriff's investigators say they have never figured out how he died. At the time, the Major Case Squad found no evidence of a crime.
But McCormick was found with two hand-written notes in his pockets in a code agents have yet to crack. Since the investigation began, the hand-written code has baffled investigators.
The FBI says McCormick's family members said he had used similar code as a secret language since his childhood and that none of his relatives knew how to decipher it.
McCormick was identified by fingerprints. He had suffered from chronic heart and lung problems, and authorities thought at the time his poor health could have contributed to his death.
