While waiting for THREE hours in the emergency room with my son who suffers from migraines, (he was suffering a silent migraine. Thought he was having
a stroke or something!!) I saw on the news that swine flu was on the rise in Venezuela. The link is below. But I was baffled at the amount of sick
people at the emergency room with flu like symptoms. We had gone to one local hospital who said that my sons symptoms weren't severe enough and they
were having a difficult time accommodating the influx of patients. So we went to another and that's where we waited three hours before even being
seen. We all got sick (me and my 2 boys) with diagnosed swine flu two years ago at this time and the hospitals were packed like they were today. My
youngest had to be admitted as he suffered severe complications from it. So I was just wondering if anyone else was getting really ill again. And why
are people coming down with it if we are supposedly "immune" to it, unless it mutated again.
Had some chills yesterday morning..plus the usual congestion and cough but feeling better already..it's just another flu that we just have to keep an
eye on like any other flu...wouldn't worry about it
I'm not talking about the regular seasonal influenza... I'm talking about the swine flu. Asking if people in the US have had severe flu symptoms
that may be the swine flu making another round.
