I hope ya'll enjoy this thread! I created it to monitor the moons constant apogee and perigee movement and its effects on the earth, and its inhabitants.

we know the moon effects our water here on earth both above and below ground. 75% of this earth is water as are our bodies. there must be some effect measurable or not.
on that note Magma or Lava is also a liquid, and i feel it is equally effected by the moon.

you may have seen my Supemoon Thread

I just made this update to the thread, I think this will be the general format of my updates here.

this is the period before Apogee of the moon, which looks like we will be the furthest from the moon in a long time.

Apr 2 9:01 406655 km -- N-1d 5h

more importantly our next Perigee will be...

Apr 17 6:01 358087 km F- 20h

the mag 9 quake hit japan on march 11, 8 days before apogee.

on march 9 the swarm of almost hourly mag 5 quakes started... Coincidentally the same day I made this thread on a feeling.

the swarm in Japan seems to be quiet, there is some activity in southern Cali and Baja Mexico. Mag 3 - 4
5 or 6 just in the last hour.

as you can see here in theVolcano Watch thread

we have eruptions in
Sakurajima in japan.

Lava from Hawaii's Kilauea Volcano was shooting as high as 80 feet in the air Sunday after the collapse of the floor of the volcano's Pu'u 'O'o crater a day earlier.

Ash clouds from Mount Karangetang reached 7,500 feet (2,300 meters) over the weekend, with lava reported flowing down the mountainside.

we are entering a new phase I feel it and I know there are many others who feel the same intensity right now,
I will be watching and updating as we get closer to perigee the 10 days before are really what I am preparing for.

the moon and our earth are dancing through our galaxy together,
there must be more to this tango that goes so un-noticed in our society...

Actualy, only about 1.52% of the Earth is water. 70.8% of the surface of the Earth is covered by water.

LOL 70.8% how did they come up with that one .

thanks for the clarification. the whole % of water is only an estimate and not really my concern in this thread.
we have no clue what lies under our many layers of this earth. only guesses from groups of scientist who cant seem to agree on anything unless a select few see it as a viable theory.

The Kola Superdeep Borehole (Russian: Кольская сверхглубокая скважина) is the result of a scientific drilling project of the former USSR. The project attempted to drill as deep as possible into the Earth's crust. Drilling began on 24 May 1970 on the Kola Peninsula, using the Uralmash-4E, and later the Uralmash-15000 series drilling rig. A number of boreholes were drilled by branching from a central hole. The deepest, SG-3, reached 12,262 metres (40,230 ft) in 1989, and is the deepest hole ever drilled, and the deepest artificial point on the earth.[1] For two decades it was also the world's longest borehole, in terms of measured depth along the well bore, until surpassed in 2008 by 12,289 m (40,318 ft) long Al Shaheen oil well in Qatar, and in 2011 by 12,345 metres (40,502 ft) long Sakhalin-I Odoptu OP-11 Well (offshore the Russian island Sakhalin).

we have merely begun to scratch the surface.

the average density of the Earth is about 5,200 kg/m3

Earth's Interior

The units used to indicate density are [kg/m3] or more commonly used [g/cm3]. The conversion between the two is 1000 kg/m3 to 1 g/cm3.

Almost 75% of the Earth's surface is covered with water and almost every living thing on Earth is made up of 90% water.

Water

They probably subtracted the green bits from the blue bits and worked it out from the blue bits left over.

I understand maths, only your missing many variables such as ground water, sandy soils saturated with water. underground rivers, glaciers, natural underground springs.. the list goes on there is really no accurate way to measure.

My point is, there is quite a large amount of liquid on earth, there must be a greater affect from the moon than the mainstream knows, and if they know they are keeping something from us. who knows.
hopefully with this thread we can gain some further knowledge on the interaction between the moon and earth.

good links boncho.

the one on the earths interior is interesting but their evidence as usual is

Evidence from seismology tells us

just like geology class all over again for me...

Again, magmas do not form everywhere beneath the surface

again, with the absolutes, based on assumptions and averages... is our outer core not liquid? now im getting wayyy off topic.

Well I wish I could have written last night about how I was feeling... I was much do busy being a plumber and electrician..

anyway we had a 7.1 this morning and as I stated above we are 10 days heading into perigee and this is the time I think we are most affected...

Apr 17 6:01 358087 km F- 20h

now to look at a few other things. with Ark and Yellowstone. the sun has also been doing its think lately!

also the moon passed over Arkansas today... there was a 4.0mag quake in Arkansas around 11am.. just keeping a close eye on things...

I count 59 quakes since the 7.1 in japan on 2011/04/07.

recent quake list

the moon was at perigee this morning, not far from the distance of the heavily advertised Extreme super moon, a difference of 1510 km.

Mar 19 19:10 356577 km ++ F+ 0h
Apr 17 6:01 358087 km F- 20h

I know I have seen a rise in activity since the predicted 10day period before perigee. now I am watching the effects as the moon travels toward apogee away from earth.

Looks like you're on to something -W1LL...10 days before perigree:
5.8 Mexico
5.8 Alaska
6.1 Japan

as well as several swarms yesterday including Maine (Maine!??) and Texas, and couple of minor ones in California.

Not to mention a whole heap of activity in Iceland .. the Askja volcano is showing signs of waking up....

thanks kali... there was just another 5.4 in Alaska

it seems the swarms have slowed and the larger 5-6 mag quakes are starting to appear with this 10 day period before perigee.

yesterday was perigee... I dont need to tell ATS there has been another increase in Earthquake and Volcanic activity.

I was trying to explain the sparse quakes that seem to be random and small with the larger ones around 5 mag.

my 10 day before perigee theory seemed to be 'falling apart with this activity in the last month, then I came to another realization.

there was a 7.2 last month on the 24th at that time the moon was at its furthest apogee for the year.

the sun is also the furthest away from the earth right now.

in this same time frame of less gravitational pressure from the sun and moon we have seen a rise in volcano activity, old thought to be extinct volcanoes. www.volcano.si.edu...

its was only recently that this theory first popularized by Einstein has been proven. Gravity Probe B

skeptics are natural with this new knowledge I just ask you keep an open mind, and remember the size of the visible moon waxing waning does not change its distance from the earth. therefore its gravitational effect does not change.
lets focus on distance apogee, perigee and the constant push and pull it crates on earth.

now were moving back into the closer perigee for this year and by year i mean the end of the year as may 6 2012.

almost right on the nose 10 days before perigee like i said a few days ago we are going to see volcano and earthquake activity rise again.
