Israel, Russia sign space cooperation agreement

The Israel Space Agency and the Russian Federal Space Agency today signed a framework agreement in the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem.
The agreement, which was signed in the presence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, enhances cooperation between the Israeli and Russian space agencies in the fields of space research, observation, navigation, medicine and biology in space, and research in advanced materials and launchings.

It seems the US is not the only one with a starwars project.
The agreement will allow to create organizational and legal grounds for the development of mutually advantageous cooperation connected with research and the use of space technologies for peaceful purposes.
The Israeli government adopted a five-year programme last year for the development of civil space.

I can't help but wonder what the Chinese and American military think about this. I can see some saber rattling happening because of this announcement. I am willing to bet the Americans and Chinese will feel obligated to make some type of announcement in the near future regarding their military/space programs.

i think so too, although im sure the americans know about this.
Also israel and china work very closely when it comes to weapons and space programs. im sure its all interconnected...

You probably already know this, but Israel already works closely with India on space program. India provide the rockets to lift Israeli spy satellites into orbit. Given the amount of money America gives to Israel you would think Israel would give the job to America. I can't help feeling that this is just a way for Israel to gather intelligence on Russian and Indian technology which America wouldn't otherwise have access to.

And so the race to Mars begins! Convenient timing.

Russia have always been at the forefront of space innovation,just like the USA has.
It makes sense for any country who wishes to progress in space travel/satts etc to link up with Russia and the USA.

Sadly though,I doubt the big powers are keeping space peaceful...I mean we have seen two sattelitte kills and other less than peaceful space projects,and thats just what they tell the press.

I would say IMO space is already weaponised,by more than just the USA and Russia.
They just pretend its all peaceful for us masses...

seems Israel is almost done with the states time to move on

This "cooperative agreement" is for public consumption, the architects will not divulge their plans. It was predicted a half century ago that the "Jewish" bankers would throw America to the dogs, by a Jew no less.

I don't see the racism in it, just a simple statement of fact and finding. No racist terminology was used, unless you consider the word 'Jew' to be racist...do you?

If you think Israel does not tell the USA what to do you are naive. I said Israel not Jews so don't try that anti Semite crap on me. And to say that Israel and Russia are good friends is also naive. The Russians often publicly denounce Israeli actions. The Russians also assisted the Iranians with their nuclear ambitions. Are you going to tell me that Israel was happy about that? This is strictly business, not a match made in heaven. I'm willing to bet that it is American tax dollars that the Israeli's are giving the Russians.
